Phishing scam looking for discover card information.
i do not own any discover cards and have had my phone number for over 10 years

call stating he was calling "from windows" about a "problem with your computer" that they would need remote access to it In order to fix (a. - my computer is fine, and b. the call would have been from Microsoft, not "windows" if it even 'had' been legit.  My mother has also received multiple calls like this - luckily she's not that stupid, either

Received a phone call from 213-457-0535. Whomever was on the other line wanted me to believe they were calling from the American government in Washington, DC. Unfortunately for them my caller ID read it as a Los Angeles phone number. I questioned the woman on this and she hung up.

The number came up as 19th floor exec. I am so sick of these idiots constantly calling our number. We hear from them at least once or twice a week. I tell them to stop calling but apparently they enjoy harassing me because they refuse to stop.

This call came into our home at 3:13 A.M.--of course I answered it (although any other time of day would not have) because I thought it was an emergency and I didn't have a caller ID phone nearby, it was a regular old-style phone which we keep in our bedroom. When I picked up, all I heard was "beep, beep, beep, beep". Thanks a lot, morons!  Woke us up out of a sound sleep! Caller ID said "Unassigned".

Caller stating he was a legal courier and had been trying to get in touch with me for days, to serve me court summons paper. Gave me another number 844-783-2640 to call if I had Questions. Called and this is what happened...................... I THINK I JUST GOT A SCAM PHONE CALL!!!
Ok this was interesting!! I receive a call from a number out of Los Angeles, the person on the phone says he is a courier and will be serving me papers tomorrow! And that if I had questions to call this other number that he gave me. Then he says that I have been officially notified. So I call this other number and they tell me that I am being sued for a payday loan from 2011 and that they are also going after me for fraud for an ACH payment that came back with insufficient funds. So I said I don't remember having money owed on a payday loan, so I ask the the name of the company that they say I owe the money too. They say it's for a payday loan, I say ok but what's the company name. He says umm Mesa payday loans!!! OK never heard of them. I even googled them, with no results. He says the loan was for $400.00 but now it's up to $800.00 and if I don't pay it the court fees will be over $3,000. So they want me to pay for this " loan" without having any documentation. And mind you this company is out of New York. So Tomorrow I will be making some phone calls to the BBB, FTC & the Attorney General. Talk with the lawyer and maybe even file a police report if I can. Some company called CCA that is the only info he would give me. Just want other consumers to be aware. Complaints have been filed with the Massachusetts Attorney General, The Fair Trade Commision, the consumer finance bureau & the division of Banks in Massachusetts. The Attorney Generals office suggested to file a complaint with the BBB as well.

My cell phone rang earlier today with 2134570535 as the ID. I hit the ignore. No message. this number will be added to my contact list with silent ring. (the 68th one of these numbers; I name them all with zzz plus three numbers.

When I get an unknown or unidentified call, I always answer with, "F B I Las Vegas, Agent Robinson, may I help you?"

They usually don't call back...

I wouldn't have answered if I hadn't been expecting a call from a family member. Only afterwards did I check the call record to see that it displayed this number and 19TH FLOOR EXEC.

"Congratulations! You have been selected to receive a free cruise to the Bahamas..." Oh, really? Click.

Now blocked.

Just got a call from this number ... Asian woman asking me if I had lower back pain.  They want to maximize my health insurance and stated that they were calling from Clearwater FL.  Area code 213 is Los Angeles.  When I called it back, this line has been disconnected.  I kept asking questions for about 10 minutes just to frustrate her and finally hung up .. nothing else to do on a snow day!

I did not answer a call from this number; no message left. I called back and got recording that it was a "non working number.

I have gotten numerous calls from this and other scam companies around the country.  Area codes are Florida or California.  This one was from Cali.  Stated that his name was Michael, although he has a thick Indian accent.  Stated that he's from Windows, and the whole spiel about detecting a problem on my computer.  So I asked if he was so great at detecting, how come he doesn't know if my comp is on or not?  He asked for my email and password, for access to the computer.  I gave him a false one...UpUrz_KrapBagg@nacho.com.  He read the name back to me, and I laughed and hung up.  Any ideas as to how these morons can be stopped?

Got a call from this # today. I picked up, could hear a bit of noise, but nobody answered. I punched the # key and then the 9 key numerous times.  A friend told me that takes my # out of their system. Figured it was worth a try.  I've done that before, seems to help a bit. Don't get as many calls a I used to.

Got this call about 2 hours ago! Didn't answer and blocked the number! I do not answer numbers I don't know and I tell everybody to do the same!

Caller ID said 19th. Floor Exec. Wasn't home but they left no msg. Glad I looked up the info here before they call again.

I just received another call from this number. The Caller ID said "19th Floor Exec". I choae not to answer. I have had calls from these type of people before: the computer people who want to fix the trouble my computer is supposedly having, also, the pay day loan people who want to scare me into paying a pay day loan I never received nor applied for, and more. I just do not answer anymore unless I know who is calling. If they do not leave a message then too bad.

Got a call saying they were the IRS, filing a lawsuit against me.
