Call is from a land line, left no msg white pages says its suspected spam

I use CFR CallBlocker ALL-IN-ONE call blocker to avoid nuisance calls like this--generally SPAM to block these calls.  Works well cuts way down on the number of unwanted calls from solicitors.

11/10/14  Caller with heavy accent stated he was from Windows Tecnical Department and he needed to fix something on my computer because certain files were corrupt  He asked me to sit in front of my computer and he was going to give me directions on how to allow him remote access so he could fix my Windows software.  Since I have several computers, I asked him to identify which one he was calling about.  He said he had a Windows license number to go by and he got my phone number from when I registered the software.  HE also said he was calling from New York.  The caller ID identified that the caller was from Los Angeles, CA .  Total scam!

I just got the same phone call 10 mins ago they were asking for me, heavy accent as well. I didn't tell them whether or not they had the right number I just kept asking why they were calling and they proceeded to keep asking for me and then just hung up.. And I for one don't even have a computer lol so they weren't going to get much info from me but a couple swear words if that

Claimed that they have a 'card' from me requesting that they call...
Phone has not been plugged in for 3 days....

Got a call asking for someone who does not work here.  Caller told me he's calling from TBM Company and in the background I overheard one of his employees calling someone else and he mention he's calling from White Paper Weekly.  It's funny how I caught overhearing that.  So honestly, I don't know which company this is.

I got a call this morning from same number, heavy accent and all, said he was from Windows technical dept. and had info that someone was trying to hack my windows account. If I would give him remote access, he'd fix it. I told him no and he said that my windows license would be canceled and I wouldn't be able to get online. I hung up and called Microsoft. They were very interested and will turn the info over to their fraud dept.

Its Scam, Microsoft never calls you, I love playing pranks on the scammers, report all calls to Phone: (212) 395-1000 Verizon Communications, The telephone carrier for Mci Worldcom Communications, Ca is  (now owned by Verizon)

Called me saying I had 2 cases for bank fraud. Told me to contact the plaintiffs office (never stated who that was or what number to call) and said if I didn't the I will be served at work or home by loca authorities. Pretty weird that everybody else here says its a scam call from "Microsoft Windows" but for me it was a call about legal cases. Very strange.

Windows support..... hung up on me when he figured out I was playing along with the scam.

Called. There's a two-second message without anything identifiable in the recording.

Got this call this morning.  I never answer numbers that I don't recognize and so did not pick up.  No message left.  Just so very tired of these calls.

Keep getting calls from this number (january 2015) No message left - I won;t pick up.

Just got a phone call from these guys AT WORK. Didn't pick up.

Just got my third call, from these scammers. Stating I had issues with Windows on my computer, and to please sit at it, so he could remotely fix it.  Well I have a Mac, and no windows on it.  Told him to hang on while I turned computer on.  I was actually looking for my whistle, and found it, asked him it he was ready, as computer was on, then blew the hell out of the whistle, heard him scream, as I hung up.

caller with a heavy India voice told me he wanted to fix my windows problem with my computer when questioned he told me to F$&k OFF A$$ HOLE and hung up on me ! its not the first time he has called and the call always ends the same .

My call from 213 457 0578 is totally different from the rest they left a message that I may have a claim against me with my Federal and State and to call 302 342 8805.

Called fax line and then turned around and hit the voice. No one on other end.

I really wish theses scammers would get a life.
