- Jobless and Upset| 1 replyThis is the text message I received: "Hi (My Name), based on your resume you match a job I'm filling. If you register at jobnab.com we can discuss the details if you're interested."
This is highly illegal. There is no actual recruiter and no actual jop position. For someone out of work, this is so disrespectful.- Caller: jobnab.com

- Give Me a BreakWhat a scam.....! Yet another way for people to nickle and dime you to death. They get you with the txting rates if you register.
- moeI received the same text message as "Jobless and Upset." I know they got my number because a friend of mine on Face Book commented on how he had received his free Ipad and there was a website to go and get "my" free IPad. The whole thing was a scam; he never posted it and since then because of my info I filled out; I've received several different texts and a whole bunch of junk emails. Not too smart on my part. Some one told me to change my password on face book and they shouldn't be able to use me as they did my friend.

- yeahDo not like that someone would go through my texts to try to trick me its an insult to my intelligence. Why would a recruiting company send a text huh? Its not professional at all. So obviously a scam.

- qm69 replies to :(Exactly the same I just received. I hate them. Even if I figure out that it's a scam, they've won already, by making me upset, and making me pay 20c for the message.

- LoLoI got the same message stating they saw my resume etc. Any real employer would not text you, they would email you or call you directly. Do not waste your time contacting them or going to their website.
- Should be prosecutedReceived msg Hi (Name) based on your resume, you match a job I'm filling. Register at jobnab.com and we can discuss it if you're interested" Being out of work is hard enough. The number of these texts coming through has been increasing. It is like price gouging during a disaster! Dangling that proverbial carrot....its just wrong!

I found several resources that indicate scam:

- ShadowhawqAnother siphon off Monster.com. Don't respond, don't call them. Just delete the text. It's the trash that comes with honest posting at Monster. Plus, Monster gets paid a fee by these loosers so they won't do a damn thing to stop it. Jobnab isn't the only one, I've seen three so far.
I does look like if you just ignore them it will fade. They seem to only pray on newly posted resume's and signups. Don't be fooled.- Caller: jobnab
