No voice mail.  No caller id - just 'Los Angeles'

This # just called my work place landline phone. Anyone know who they are?

This is a wireless call robo-caller, also check out 213-504-5309, and points back to 866-982-8873, pushing calendars, and other mindless junk.

answered from this number, pressed 1 and got representative, I said I want to be taken off the calling list and they were interrupting my dinner.  the young guy was so unprofessional, that I couldn't believe it.  "Oh no, I'm interrupting your dinner, oh no!"  I wish this country would not let telemarketers call people randomly.  It is so inappropriate!

Getting this A holes calling me everyday at same time, is there any app that block phone numbers?

Calls no message & call back to get busy signal. Blocked it. I'm sure they'll call from another # in an hour or so

If you are using android, you can use Mr Number or my favorite is Call Control Pro, both will block numbers as well as block suspected spam from numbers that have not yet called you.

I set up a contact in my phone as "telemarketer" or "Do Not Answer" whenever I get a new spam caller I just "add to existing contacts".
Then just "block this caller" (at least on an iPhone) and it will block all numbers in that contact.

That feature only became available in iOS 7. For iOS 6 and below you group the numbers in one contact as you said. Then create a silent ringtone through iTunes and assign it to the contact. Also turn off vibration for that contact. Your phone won't block the call and will still light up but if you're not looking at it you won't be disturbed. The scammer can still leave a message, but rarely do.

Called our DNC registered landline on 10/07/2014 @ 03:13 PM from Los Angeles, CA. Caller ID shows (213) 504-7078. No message was left.
I have Blacklisted this number. If this number calls again it will be registered to Caller ID history, but the phone will never ring.

Put all the bad numbers under a name in your phone list called PEST. Then set this name to block all calls and never hear from them again.
At the bottom of the persons listing in android, touch the options button and check the box block incoming calls. Then Mr A H Pest won't bother you any more :-D

We have been receiving harassing phone calls from this number which comes through as "BUS SVC CNTR." We have just changed our home phone number of 20+ years within the last month and have not given it out to many people and it is unlisted thus this seems to be some type of prank, scammer, stalker, solicitation obtained through fraudulent means that may have also been potentially going through our email and credit card statement. PLEASE BEWARE of calls from this number.
