called said my social security was under federal investgation.  thi is a fraud.

Some guy i can barely understand said that i was going to be sued and that i need to have my attorney call them or he will report my case to the sherriffs dept in my area. WHO THE HELL IS THIS COMPANY he said hes an attorney at the Jackson law firm.

Called me 6 times this morning, called my place of employment as well. Left me 3 voice mail messages. Threatening  me. They are posing to be "officers" from the Jackson Law Firm. lol Law firms DO NOT HAVE OFFICERS. And that I need to pay them the money or they would be forced to proceed with their legal actions against me. That a sheriff will be at my door or place of employment very soon to arrest me. hahaha! What? I dont get served court papers first before my warrant? Too funny! Fkn indians need to learn the process of the law before they try to scam americans in their own country. Thanks for the laugh! But how they know about my loan is beyond me.  Yes I got a loan. But not from them. I got mine from "check n' go" right around the corner from my house. That was over a month ago. My loan was paid off 2 weeks ago. $1500.00. Anyways, they said they were going to sue me, that my ss# and my name is being  federally investigated by the FBI. I told them that its against the law to harass people this way and that I found over 800 complaints about that phone number online. And they will really hear from my legal attorney as they wish to as stated on my voicemail. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT! Answer their call and give them one very stern warning that you will forward the number to the FBI for extortion, money laundering, and for impersonating a police officer. And that any further calls will be considered harassment .

Poor guy doesn't know I'm a lawyer to be and am currently working with the FBI to have him shut down. Poor poor man x.x

oh thank god i thought i was going to jail, the guy called me at work saying i needed to pay his client 541 dollars

so i gave him a warning and now he says that ill be more then satisfied and that i'll be receiving my papers shortly...

Thank you for all the posts! Just got a call, same story, had my name and social security # and I was being sued. So scary! But even more annoying!

Yup keep getting calls from them with the same threats...I asked them to use the US mail and send me all corresponding documents verifying the loan and that they own it....they just yell at me....I ask to speak to the senior attorney...they yell some more, they threaten to have me arrested when I get home and at my place of work...I told them that there is no such thing as a debtors prison and you would have to have me served (which by the way - would just come in the mail - been there, done that with a credit card company) with clear documentation and that I am more than willing to go to court tell me the date, then they threatened me some more.  I asked for their address...yup you guessed right...they yelled again.   I programmed my cell phone to go directly to voicemail when they call and force them to leave a message so I have records.   Then they get a new number and it starts all over again...this has been going on for about 6 months.  They get your info from payday loan sights and credit cards for people with poor credit.  They are preying on this group.  I filed a complaint with the DA office, the FBI website for consumer fraud and all the US attorney generals office.  I suggest you all do the same.


If it was official believe me, they would not be handling it this way...even if you do default on paying credit cards or loans...no one comes and arrests you and drags you out of a job...remember for you to pay you need to keep your job....

One more thing...the FBI and Federal Trade Commision have actually posted notices on their websites regarding this scam and the different numbers they use...you should log the number with them...it will help.  It is a form of Identity theft...All debt collectors have ID's and are liscensed by different states, you can look them up and they have to follow very strict guidelines when collecting any debt.

they called my sister and had her all upset and scared, so thanks for the posts, it helped me assure her that it was a scam!!!!

I just got the call from them three times this morning. I asked them to send me the corresponding documentation and that the loan I picked up doesn't need to be paid til next month. They didn't know what to say, I also told the idiot that the money I borrowed wouldn't be federally investigated, especially for that amount. They said I was right and they hung up on me. It is a scam, don't fall for it.

These scammers just keep calling. No attorney will call you back to back within an hour and then all day long.  I added up all the calls and it total to 50 and this is within one day.  Other calls have come in but I did not answer nor count the times they called.  They will not give you a list of creditors nor amount each one is owed.  They stated that it is all compiled in to one.  LOL- NUMMIES.
