they called my cell

they called my cell, I do not give that number to anyone but family

Two calls in the last 2-days, said i wast to get a free paper with coupons . Wanted my address, already knew my last name..... refused, told them to stop calling.....

called my cell... don't give anyone but my family my phone number!!!!!!

7-14-2012 UNKNOWN NAME on Caller ID.  They hung up as soon as answering machine came on.

Called my cell, left no message when I missed the call.

Caller ID : Los Angeles, CA  213-536-4719

Who ever it was hung up when I answered.

Said they were conducting a quick survey.  I said I didn't wish to participate and please remove my number from your list.  They said they would remove it.

This number has called me at least once a day for 2 weeks! They hang up on the answering machine and when I pick up and do not say anything. I registered again with the "Do Not Call List." Hopefully, that will stop the incessant calls!

this number has called me probably 10 times in the last week. i dont pick up...they dont leave a message.

5 calls in 5 days.  Are these people clueless??  I never answer the phone, they should know by now that I won't.  If the call matters they would leave a message, but of course they don't.

They call atleast once a day and late in the evening. I call back and the reply I get is,"the verizon phone number you  just dialed is not complete." I don't know who it is for they don't answer when I call or when they call me they dont say anything they just sit on the other end and say nothing and then they hang up?

The person(s) behind the unwanted calls stopped it for a while. Now, August 2012, whoever is calling is back at it, again. The calls are usually in the morning up to 12 noon, and then back again after 5-7pm. I wonder is the calls are about people hired for two shifts morning and afternoon for researching what are the hours people are more likely to be at home in certain neighborhood locations. I wonder if the calls are related to marketing companies doing research for doing polling in the future as 2012 is an election year.

FYI: the calls point of origin is Ventura, California which is nearby Los Angeles.

I just called that phone and the company has the following message:
"thank you for calling Regional Media Group, all our operators are busy.Please, leave a message."

I guess the operators of that marketing company are busy annoying people with their unwanted calls.

Is it the time of  year for annoying humans to call other busy humans? The best way to get rid of annoying telephone calls is to report them to donotcall.gov. I'm going to do that right now.

This number has called everyday for the last 2 weeks. Finally today I was home and answered it and the lady tried to sell me a subscription to the L.A. Times. I asked her why she was calling me when I already get the newspaper and she said they are a telemarketing firm that carries offers of over 300 solicitations for various companies and got my info from various marketing lists. I asked them to remove my number from their sales list. We'll see if it works!
