This number called me to the uk said his name was brian wilson from onceinalifetimeholiday.com and I had won *WON* a holiday to cancun
When you win a holiday you dont give credit card numbers out especially over the phone, or pay money to have won a holiday lol. Dimwit obviously scamming, someone should have told him to become a scammer and win at it you firstly have to have a sane brain.Anyway, if anyone would like to spend some time speaking to brian wilson call the number ask to be put through to ext: 275(bathroom out of earshot of his momma) ;))Best make it quickly though as I intend to make him sorry he ever had the nerve to try it on with me. I didnt give any details to him, but intend to stop him doing this with someone more vulnerable.1st. contact the telephone company he's using ;). 2nd. ooooooh, can't tell anyone that, want to surprise him .

Call said i had won free holiday and to press 1 to claim. Real person Jason Castro?? came on phone and told me what i had won. Was suspicious straight off. Said it was through VISA for spending it during a certain timeframe. Asked for my first name which i made him work for and he was able to tell me my surname. Told me to look up the website now to verify it was real. Seemed to get offended when i told him i was suss and didn't want to give out information. Didn't even let him ask for my Credit card number, told him i would ask my husband about it and he gave me tollfree 0012135371099. I have caller id and it came up private on my phone, not overseas like it normally would. DEFINATELY THINKING THIS IS SCAM. BEWARE.

I also received an automated message saying they are a "Rewards" dept and that I had won a an All Inclusive holiday for 4 people to cover Cancun, Disneyland etc - I listened to what he had to say - he said it would only cost £385 for taxes - THEN when he started asking for personal details eg. address, date of birth etc, did not mind giving this info - but I gave him a very rough time when he asked for my card details - I told him IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that I do not give out my card account number etc. to anyone who CALLS ME OVER THE PHONE, he then said they do not ask for the security number of your card only the 16 didgit registration number!!! they would only need this when I had received all the paperwork for the "PRIZE" and then had to pay for the taxes.

I THEN decided to let him know I used to be a "FINANCIAL ADVISOR", well versed in detecting fraud and moneylaundering etc,  I told him I was checking their "Once in a Lifetime.com" website, could not see anything about any competitions or "Rewards" on their details - so I have sent a message to this site informing them of the call - AND THAT I HAVE REPORTED THIS CALL AND THEIR SITE ADDRESS TO "WATCHDOG" AND THE "HOUSE OF COMMONS" LONDON. - I have asked him to call me back later, I wont hold my breath!!

PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED - IT IS SO TRUE - YOU DO NOT GET ANYTHING FOR NOTHING - ESPECIALLY FROM THESE "WIDEBOYS" OVER THE PHONE.
I CANT WAIT TO HEAR MY REPLY FROM THE HOUSE OF COMMONS AND WATCHDOG THOUGH.

We received a call in the UK from this number. The call followed the format of the calls described here.  We were told we had won a 2 week holiday to Cancun, Mexico.  The caller, who had an Indian accent, identified himself when pressed as Roy Smith.  He would not say who he worked for other than 'the VISA/Mastercard department' and later that he worked for 'Once in a Lifetime Holiday'.  After a couple of questions about my name I was suspicious but he could not give a straight answer to my questions.  He claimed that the reason for the prize was to promote awareness of the company but later said that he was offended that we had not heard of his company! Initially he'd said that the holiday was all paid for and worth 5000 pounds but later told us that we'd have to pay 395 pounds.  Once we said we were not interested in the holiday he said no one had ever refused the prize and that he could not cancel the package. We got rid of him eventually.

A man by the name of Sam Anderson called this arvo and said that we'd won a holiday to Cancun and a few other places for free. All he needed to confirm was name and credit card details. He said that he was from VISA and already had our details and just needed Damien to tell him the credit card number so he could verify it! Damien was taking the call and I warned him to be careful. The man was urging him to give out the credit card number and gave him the website www.onceinalifetime.com to look at. And the phone number 001 213 537 1099. I googled onceinalifetime.com while he was still on the phone and could only find this.Damien hung up on the bloke. This is definantly a scam.

My Grandparents have been receiving up to 20 calls a day, answered by a computer voice called 'Rachel'. Telling you you have won a holiday and press 1 go speak to an operator. After 5 times asking them to stop this they still phone. We asked for supervisors and sometimes speak to someone, sometimes they hang up. Teh phone number they give is 0012135371099, the address they give is
    Once in a lifetime holidays
    954 Willow Gardens Court
    Lake Mary
    Orlando
    Florida
    Zip 32746

If I lived in the US was going to pay them a visit and ask them to stop permanently. But I will be writing to them and the local US attorneys office. This constitutes harrassment, especially when my Grnadparents are in their 90's!!! We've asked politely, we've threatened. Time to ask someone else for help.

Wife got a call 13/8/08 at 1330 hrs (1:30 pm) in Australia from Nancy Carmen of Once in a Lifetime Holidays in Florida to say "You have won a holiday ...  because you have not exceeeded your Visa ...".

Called our bank and they immediately cancelled our card.

Wouldn't 1:30 PM AEST be around midnight in Florida? or around 9:00 pm in Mumbai, which might have been more likely judging from the accent of the woman and her so-called managers.

(We have had quite a few calls starting with "You have won a holiday ..", but we have previously just hung up.)

They know something about our Visa a/c but not all, so they were given the a/c no & security digits.

All we would have to do would be pay A$529 when a courier delivered a "package of documents".

Once in a Lifetime Holidays web site looks legit but gives absolutely no useful information. (Have they used some film stars' photos on the web pages?  Cleverly suggestive.)

Who runs "800Notes"? Are you guys ridgy-didg? (That's Australian for "Are you genuine?")

Following my post above we decided to get serious. The address I have is in the US, therefore they come under US law. We have reported them to the IRS as they obviously take money from some people but I doubt they declare it. They are also allegedly working from a house in Orlando. That's illegal here in the UK without being registered as a company and I couldn't find any information to say they were registered. So, please do tell the IRS about this company - if they can bring down the Mafia they can bring down this company!!! Go to the IRS website, print off the infromation referral form for those you suspect are not paying their taxes. We will hope something gets done. Goodluck!!

I thought i'd just let you all know that by even visiting their website they can log your ip addresses for later use. Not that i think they are that organised but hacking into a computer/email account to get bank details that way wont be too large a stretch. I keep getting the same call but didnt even bother to listen to all of it, i just hang up. Best thing you can do is stay away from them completely and report them to your Phone provider who'll know where the call is coming from and report them to whoever necessary.

I received a recorded message today to say I had won a free holiday for four. I managed to speak to a real person who said I had been recommended for this prize because I had paid off my visa card in full for 4 years. I don't have a Visa card!!! The holiday was in Cancun, Florida, Daytona and was all inclusive. He said the company was Once in a Lifetime Holidays. I did not give him any information, wished him a good day and put the phone down.

Half an hour ago I received a call from a withheld number with a recorded message from 'Rewards Dept.' at 'Once in a Lifetime Holidays' stating I had won a holiday on a tropical beach. It requested to press '1' to continue to receive your free holiday. I pressed 1 and was put on hold. Roughly 30 seconds later a man with an American accent answered wishing to tell me more about the holiday I had won. He asked me to verify my master card or visa card number to collect my prize. I declined to give out any of my details and told him that if I had won a holiday that he would already know my card number. He became some what aggressive and gave me the telephone number and website for his company. He also read out my home address which I also declined to verify. I refused to give out any of my personal details which seemed to anger him further and he hung up on me.

About an hour ago I received this computerised call - pushed '1' and got trasferred to a man (Indian accent - said he was calling from florida, Once in a Lifetime Promotion via Mastercard)who told me I'd won a holiday for my family.  I only continued the conversation as I had recently entered a competition - a valid one - via the Mastercard website so thought this was the same thing....but the prize didn't sund familiar. Anyway, when they asked for my card expiry date and number - actually asked me to verify it - I became suspitious....they had my full residential address (not sure from where as my Mastercard account goes to a PO Box?!) and name, but also asked me to verify my first name and I didn't.  Then he hung up - IT IS A SCAM!!!
