telemarketer didn't want to keep listening to find out name of company but they claim you can make 1000's with no effort.yeah right!

Based on Molly's info I did not answer it. No message was left. For me, the 213 area code would be very out of the ordinary because we live in NV.

I received a call from this "company" today. If you listen to the recording it eventually says to press 9 if you would like to be taken of their call list. The funny part about this, is I have been receiving calls from this company multiple times in a 3 month time frame and always press 9 and yet they still call me and use different numbers but it is always the same automated message. I am not sure how they got my number but I have reported this number.

This scam apparently originates from an American man who currently goes by the name of Richard Davis. He has been in trouble with the law numerous times and uses numerous other aliases. Two of his biggest sites on the net are for illegal pharmacy sales. How do I know all of this? I saw a real opportunity while unemployed. That opportunity was to hunt down and post the identities of the scammers out there who call 87 year old women at 1 in the afternoon trying to scam them. My site is just about finished and I will post the URL here when it's done. I'm just a few days away from catching this ba$tard. If you get a call from this number, report it to whichever US or Canadian authority you possibly can.

Stop effing calling me - I'm on a do not call list. I'm going to be finding a way to get all of you creeps from calling me any time of day or evening that you want to. Get it DNC list.

One, no one from this site is calling you. Two, it's highly unlikely the person who called you is going to see your post.

If you know who called you, why did you look up the number? As for following their instructions to have your number taken off the list, apparently you didn't read the other posts in this thread by people saying that doesn't work.

Received the call last evening at 7:30pm.  Weird calling pattern.  No message left and CID read Environment, CA.  Have now blocked 213 550.

5 rings & disconnected. No voicemail left.

If was truly Environment California, they are a legitimate charity.

You'd think if "a legitimate charity" was calling they would leave a message.
