I dont know who this is.. but I do get calls from this number once in awhile. It is very annoying. Please post if you know who this is!

Be sure to note the time and date of the call and contact your telephone service provider. Inform them that you are receiving harassing phone calls from a obfuscated (hidden) number and that you want it traced immediately. If they are calling your cell phone, then the number should show up on your monthly statement. If they are calling your home or business, insist on a trace and have the fake AND real number blocked.

The call I received from this number was from a friend using operator assistance at a payphone in Modesto, CA.  I believe he said it was by a Raley's supermarket, but I didn't get the full detail before we were cut off.  He didn't call me back as he had lost money at that phone.

continuing from the last...I suppose the reference to "Caller ID" means the phone number from which the call was made as shown on my cell phone.  It was 1-213-555-5555. It was made by my fiance who usually calls me daily.

Got a call from this number this evening from my nephew who claims to be at Fountain Square in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was just released from prison this morning. How do so many people from so many places use this number to call others. Some kind of hidden phone number scam that all the right people seem to know about. How is that possible?

I received a call this morning to get my carpet's cleaned from this number.  I think the 555 prefix (which is a non-existant calling prefix that many movies and TV shows reference because nobody owns them) is probably computer generated to mask the real caller's number.

I get that number too. I thought '555' was reserved for the TV and Movie industry. They use it so they don't give out a real number.

got repeated calls from this number just today alone. Didn't bother picking it up cause anyone who is anyone knows that 555-5555 is used for information calls.

I receieved three calls today (July 17,2008) on my cell from this numbner (213-555-5555). Knowing the 555 prefix is always used in movies and television I knew not to answer it. I would like to know who it is though.

They called yesterday and I answered and they asked for Evelyn Gonzales.  I said wrong number.  

Then they called this morning at 6AM.  I am furious.  I just yelled in the phone not to call here.

They called at 11am pacific time today, but there was only silence when I answered the phone, and then the familiar click click of someone hanging up the phone.  I get lots of SPAM Calls, so I wouldn't be suprised if it was a scam.

I have been receiving calls from this number numerous times in one day.  They usually call in the morning and will call as much as 5 times in one hour.  It has gotten so bad that I just ignore the phone when it rings and then miss real calls for myself.  I feel like the phone has been hijacked by these people.  I have answered it before and all I heard was static and if they leave a mesage on the machine it is also just static.  It is just crazy and I want it to stop.

keep calling sometimes automated about carpet cleaning sometimes I answer and no one is there? And it's very annoying because I DON'T have carpets!!!

home phone VoIP displayed 213-555-5555 Directory Assistance when it rang so i didn't answer ... pretty sure its a spammer/telemarketer so will check voicemail later

I received a call from this number and said bad words, and a threat.

i keep receiving calls from this number asking for a Quinton, which is not my name. ive told them numerous times its not my name and to take me off their call list.they keep calling and getting more and more aggressive. the only info ive gotten is they are ACH.theres a million ach's on the web and none all say they dont use telemarketers. while on the phone they wont give a call back # or physical address for their business. ive called my service provider-they said they cant track or block it cause its a fake #. any one have a way to track them w/out paying a fee? - thanks
