These people call over and over again at my office asking for someone who has never worked here. They get rude and hang up after making stupid remarks to me... I told them that they keep calling and this is not a number to reach that person. The guy goes "oh well he is famous that is why we keep calling" then hung up on me...

Oh and the caller ID says  Dir Asst           CA

constant calls from a number I do not recognize - 12 and 15 an hour sometimes.. obvious harrassment from someone - but Im not answering because that only encourages them

Received a call from this number. I was not at home and do not know who it is.

Called the real Directory Assistance. No listing for 213-555-5556. What a scam. Even the phone company does not who it belongs to!

This number called me TIMES yesterday,never leaving messages. I am waiting to hear back from actual people/jobs!

These people call me several times a day on my work phone and cell phone at the exact same times. Like they sit there and collaberate to call the two numbers at the same time! When I answer my work phone they dont say anything. I dont answer the cell call.

This number has been calling my cell number and house number they are very rude. They seem to know a lot about you with personal information. I explained to them not to call.  I reported them to the FBI and to the  FCC.  I also told them that I let them listen to the message that they left on the phone. Please don't fall for these guys google their number if you are not sure. Do not give them any bank acct numbers it is a scam.

I have received 27 calls from this number in a 3 day period.  They call my home, cell and work numbers at about the same time.  I am reporting it as harrassment.  If anyone knows multiple places that I can report it, please let me know.  Post on here.. Thanks

Someone calls our office from this number once a day or so and only once left a message, for our daughter, who used to work here.  The message started with back ground giggling and noise, then a man's voice in an accent from I don't know where.  I could not understand a word of the message, save for a word about a loan.  Our daughter once got one of those pay-day loans from some company, and I think they have sold or traded her information with this company.  Do not bother answering them, report them, watch your bank account if you have ever gotten a pay-day loan anywhere.

I get 15 calls from this number to my cell and when I answer they just stay there listening or they hang up on me. I am sooooo over this number!

I have recieved telephone calls from this number on my desk phone several times and do not know who it is either.  I know that the area code originates in California.  I recently just listened to a an "accidental" message left on my phone that lasted over 6 minutes.  I heard them speaking and giggling in the background in spanish and english.  No telling what these people want, but the next time they call I will answer and inquire about the reason for their call.

This number has called me 20 plus times in the last couple of days. They never speak, when I answer and when I call the number back, I get nothing.

Me too as well. At least 10-15 times a day. Thank God it is my cell and I have caller ID.

They have called me 15 times since Friday (no calls on the weekend). They called looking for a person I have gotten other debt collecter calls from beforeI want to file harrassment, but don't know how. I have tried blocking the number from my cell, but that didn't work.

they start calling around 8am est  and dont stop all day when i answered they hang up.  this is ridiculous

I've received calls from this number for at least 6 months on a daily basis. They continually call... sometimes someone is there and sometimes it is silent. If I answer, they usually hang up. If I'm quiet, their autodialer usually patches them through. When someone does answer, it is always a rude individual who hangs up on me when they find out I'm not the person they are looking for. Fortunately, my employer will be changing my number. Unfortunately, it is costing money to do so.

Marble-mouthed lady asked for someone who does not work here.  I told her I had never heard of that person and she rudely replied "Are you sure? Are you lying?"  I repeated that I had never heard of the person and she hung up on me.  She never identified herself, and there was a definite call center atmosphere in the background.
