Called my cell phone using a prerecorded message/robo call claiming to be the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. Pfft! Didn't know the IRS was headquartered in Los Angeles these days?!? lol! Btw, I live on the Gulf Coast so be aware of this scam if you do as well and please DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK! The IRS will NEVER send you prerecorded solicitation messages. Especially of this ridiculous nature! They will only contact you by mail. Just block the number & report them here and at the FTC.

Called my cell -- got the same message described by Elle.  Oh, how my "name" should be enacted for such callers.

They just called me this morning and left a message.  I called the number back and immediately I could tell I was being transferred overseas and sure enough Mohammed answered says hello IRS lawsuit department...  I said you must be an idiot thinking people would believe the IRS would have a [***] in India doing something like this, they hung up faster than they could answer the phone...

IRS scam, block and report! When I asked for more information, and told him I didn't trust him, he said "**** YOU" and something really vulgar. I hung up.

Call from this number 213-590-1169 claiming to be its. Not the first scam call of this nature I have received. Have spoken to real it's and they do not make this kind of call they contact you by mail. Hope nobody takes them serious.

same message as previous callers--The IRS is opening a law suit against me and I need to call them back right away

I just got a call from 213-590-1169 claiming to be from the IRS, I did not answer it because I didn't recoginize the number but they left a message same as Elie's

Saying they are from the IRS and that they are filing a lawsuit against me  They called did not answer the call because I did not know the number.  But they left a voice mail

I wonder if this should be reported to the police

We got a call this morning. It's a robo call. It's saying that the IRS has file a lawsuit against us. Need to call this number for filing number.
