Someone has called from this pay phone # at least twice and ordered moving companies to move us from our home address to our business address in Georgia.  Has also ordered pizzas, taxis and plumbers for us.

Calls come from the Los Angeles area, where my husband grew up.

Approximately 1 1/2 years ago my husband started receiving threatening mail from this person, identity unknown, with bullets enclosed.

Post office says they can't do anything about it because we don't know the source!

I just received a call from this #... 213-702-5501. I didn't recognize the # so waited until it called a few more times. After finally answering, I did know the person calling... they were calling from a payphone located in the city of Whittier CA on Lambert Rd & Gunn Ave in front of J & L Liquor...Hope this helps!

I live in manhattan and do not know anyone in LA.

I received a call from 213 702-5501 and the man said he knew me, however he lied. (Who these days doesn't have a cell phone! All my friends have cells.) I'm in NY, the pay phone is in California. I googled the number and see there are other complaints.

my missing 17 y/o daughter called a friend from this number (213)702-5501 on the day she was last seen. I went to the Whittier address listed above at the J&L Liquor and that phone# is (562)320-1328. Please if anyone knows the location of this payphone please list it here. I will be checking back often as this is our only lead to her location. Thank you.

Hi, to the person missing their child, I called my girlfriend from a payphone on the corner of Melrose and Highland in Los Angeles at a gas station. It's a good neighborhood but my girlfriend didn't know who the number was from, looked it up and saw the liquor store address and the Whittier address and I can guarantee I was not calling from there. Good luck in finding your daughter. But I can tell you the location I called from using that number is in the Hollywood area. Hope this helps.

I received a call from this number a few days ago and I need to know its location ASAP for personal and business reasons.  Could anybody tell me how and where I could find out where this number ACTUALLY is?

i received a phone call from 213-702-5501 from a guy selling concert tickets.  turns out they were fake.  in a email he sent me after i was duped, he said he made the call from a gas station in Camarillo, CA.  he was lying, 213 areacodes are downtown/hollywood areacodes.  what a [***].  my heart goes out to the person missing their child. what a heartless world we live in.

Im sorry for the woman who's daughter has been missing .I hope by now she has been found and is safe. To all of you trying to find where this number is from - I will try to post something up real soon. My brother just called me from this payphone on his was back to AZ and I will ask him any details. Got a call from this 213-702-5501 phone number at 8 pm tonight (11-22-08) exactly.. I actually live in the Hollywood area, but my phone number is still an east coast (NJ) number...and it's a cell phone #.. No one left a message, but I returned the call and it said that I had 'called a payphone that does not accept incoming calls" - then it beeped as if i could leave a message. I just hung up.

I received a call from 213-702-5501 on my cell phone but I was working when I received the call and when I got out of work I saw that I had a missed call with this number nobody left a message though.

I just got a new phone and that number keeps calling me a few times a week.

Got a call from this number Saturday night 10:01 central time.  It was for my boyfriend, the message wasn't real clear, I have gotten these calls from that area a lot lately.... I don't appreciate it, I'm sure anyone leaving a message here or reading this doesn't appreciate it either.

Today, early morning around 5am ish, I received SIX phone calls from this number. Four of the six calls the person left a message, same person every time.

They say they are going to hunt me down and destroy my life. I didn't recognize the voice, nor do I recognize the phone number.

If it is in Cali, how did they get an Ohio phone number that is unlisted?

My girlfriend just called me this evening from 213-702-5501.  She said it was a payphone in Yucca Valley, California at the Chevron station (Yucca is small, so there probably isn't more than one).  Her cell service wasn't very good up there, hence the reason for the call from a payphone.  I know she was really in Yucca, because she was there for her mother's surgery tomorrow morning.

Having perused this board and one other on the subject, it would seem to me that the payphones (the only common thread) are probably owned by a small telecom company that passes ANI from a pool of some kind.  Hence the various locations and cities that the callers are from.

I'm sure this isn't much help, but there it is.

I just received a call from this number 213-702-5501. I said hello and the person (man's voice) said "who's this"? I said who do you want? He repplied by saying F*^%($# and hung up.
