Caller ID showed as "Alert". The standard recorded health care scam for people over 60. They offer $3000 in coupons.

This is the exact same message received as "Oregon" with number 503-404-0959.

Another number owned by CallerID4U, Inc. in CA.

Caller ID showed "Alert". message left on answering machine was about med alert ID bracelet or necklace and some $3000.00 in free coupons. Must have been an auto dialer because I was supposed to dial 1 to conect.

There is an article in the July-August AARP Bulletin that warns of, and explains, the medic alert for seniors scam, that is well worth the reading.

Why do you think that the people calling you have anything to do with this board?

When you leave a message on a forum like 800notes, you are not communicating with the caller, so the Alert caller will never know you said to take your number off of their list.

Received call today.  Caller ID "ALERT".  No message left.

Also received call from (425)406-9465 with caller ID "SENIOR ALERT".  Didn't answer.  No message left.

The medic alert for seniors scammers are disgusting scammers of the elderly!

213-710-8635 called nov 4 at 6:24 pm, I'd name was "Alert".  I didn't answer.  Thank you to whoever sponsors this website so we can research and report these calls.  Good to have some idea whether or not these calls are legit or low life did nothing with their sorry PATHATIC life loser scammers.

ID as cell phone 213 710 8635     I did not answer and no message was left.  Probably a scam as others have alluded to. They will get caught one day and spend some time in prison. Be patient folks, it will happen. Do not answer if you don not know the number, and do not give out any personal information such as name, address, social security number or credit card numbers. These people are scumbags, and will steal from those who drop their guard. Be alert!!!!!!

No message left on answering device. Returned phone call on caller ID to 213-710-8635. Message says "Press 1 to remove yourself from caller list" .  Caller ID left number and "ALERT" message. Would like to get my hands around their neck9(s) myself.

i received a call from this number that showed as alert, then seconds later another scam call from another area code (215-383-1613). it seems that they come in waves. perhaps these scams even work together? i phone them back and hit the opt out option so as to receive no more calls, but it only lasts for a short time. it seems to take longer for the opt out option to work, than the calls to stop coming in.

Scammers.  If you press 1 and tell them not to call you, they actually have the gall to claim you placed the call to them!  I told this little toad what I thought of what his mother does with goats.

Caller ID showed 213-710-8635 and ALERT.  Recorded message offered $3000 worth of food coupons to seniors.  I let my machine pick up and then blocked the number.  I've had to block this number more than once as they've called many times and my block option fills up fast.

Yep.  Getting the ALERT calls from 213-710-8635.  I just hang up as soon as I know that it's crap.
