Me too.  I asked the person, who identified himself as Investigator Alex REID from the IRS, if I could get his extension so I can call my attorney and CPA before providing him any more information.  He got mildly upset and stated to call back the number instead.  I was called about 15 minutes ago.

I didn't answer - but they left a recorded message on my voicemail about a case file and I need to call immediately.  They called twice today.

left multiple messages that IRS has warrent for arrest and to call back.  television articles warn of this scam and that IRS does not call like this.

Received that call too today .. claiming IRS investigator.  Called them back but they hung up; or didn't pick up again.

Called five times.  Left a recorded message about a suit by IRS.  I blocked the number but saw where they had tried to call again at 10:50 pm.

Received a call from 1-716-563-7698 Buffalo, NY-left a robo message to call back 213-713-0630 - Blocked

Same as comment from DJM. Call from 716-563-7698.  Message was concerning an IRS lawsuit and to call 213-713-0630.  Seems like this scam is well-known, so I wonder why they bother.

Called 213-713-0630 to laugh at their message about an IRS lawsuit.  It is not a working number (on 8/24/16).

5 calls within a 4 hour period warning about an IRS lawsuit and instructing me to call 213-713-0630 immediately.  I ignored.

Got a call just now about IRS law suit and ignored the message.. :)

I'm from Hawai'i. just got a call from a new york number, 716-563-7698. they left a message to call 213-713-0630. they didn't leave a name so i'm not gonna call them back. sounds like a scam. if it was the IRS, they'd know where to find me.
