Someone calling me for items for sale

cashiers check of excess fund to cover the cost of purchase and the shipping cost so you can deduct your money and send
the excess to my shipping who is currently in bay area for the  pick at your residence after the cashiers check must have clears
your account to my house here in Florida.
Please kindly proceed and delete your advert on craigslist if this  is okay by you .....

I was selling some items on craigslist and got a reply from the person with this number. he/she was working with the email adress queensinter@hotmail.com.

I will wait for you to confirm and clear the check.The payment will be in excess as i will want you to contact my shipper with the excess fund for shipping of the item after you must have confirmed and cashed the check.i will wait for your bank to clear the check so you can deduct your own money and send the excess fund to the shipper via MONEY GRAM so as to cover the cost of shipping the boat from your place to it's destination. Is that okay by you?

I am selling a Stetson hat and received a email with the ph # and the sinter email as You have found doing illegal scams via cashiers check . I googled it and found you people.

Received an email requesting to have an item purchased on Craig's List.  They said they would send a cashier's check and wait for it to be cleared before the item would be picked up by "their" shipping company.  They requested my full name, address and phone number so they could send the check as soon as possible.  They said "their" shipping company would pick up the item DIRECTLY AT MY HOUSE.  They were reluctant to give out their information after multiple requests.  Finally the SCUM artist provided a phone number, interstingly there is multiple information about this number and the emails are coincidentally very similar to the SCUM warnings on Craig"s List.

yes it is a scam im an investigator also had a respond to this it is a common scam they send out thousands hoping to get just a few that will bite.. They will send a fake check for an amount larger that asking price and tell you its for shipping then you can keep your asking price and send back the rest only to find out your bank will call you and let you know that check was bad and you owe them money

I am trying to sell a furniture set and I got a response from sinterqueen3@hotmail.com. The e-mail is the exact same mispelled wording as the Dec. 16th post. I'm glad that I googled it. What would have happened if I would have fell for it and actually cashed the check? Would I have gone to jail?

I did not get a call from this number but this number is in a scam email I got today.

Got the same email today from Bill Marcus in fl.. He answered my add on SF Bay Area's craigslist. He asked for all my info, said he would over payment me in a bank certified check and his "own" shipping company would pick up the item for sale. He is using an email address of: bilywilmarc@ovi.com.
This guy or these people are a scam. BEWARE!!
