Same situation, wanted to buy rings and have them sent to Texas but pay through paypal. wanted to "give" and extra 100 for shipping.

Selling a 1 Carat Wedding ring set and ask to ship to Texas, said they would send an extra $100 for shipping. Payment through Paypal offered. Figured it was a scam so I Googled the phone number! People really???? Stealing is Stealing!!!!

Just had a text from him "Barry" wanting to buy a ring and ship to Texas. Then I looked on the Internet and seen all the reports. Told him that he was busted and to never contact me again.  Hope someone don't fall for this. I even got his email so I could send a invoice.

This person tried to buy an engagement ring, told me it needed to be shipped to Texas. Offered to pay via PayPal adding $100 for shipping fees.  I'm glad I made a research about the phone number and found this site.

Just about got scammed wated to buy my wedding band, i recieved emails from paypal at least i thought it was paypal!! guess what it was sum scum trying to rip me off!!

Just got a text from this same number, wanting to buy my ring. Has stopped texting since I called him out on it

Still out there trying to purchase ring on Craigslist. I am finding that if you text back that you only accept payment via PayPal and know exactly how PayPal works, they seem to go away.
