Got a call from this number, I do not answer unknown calls. They did not leave a message, so I assume it is a spam call.

Called and didn't leave a message. Probably Spam. Blocked.

Almost sounded like a pre-recorded spam message

After a few seconds of silence of saying you have the wrong number he continued about "maybe you could help me, the reason for this call is" Told him "you know it's Sunday? Right? I don't handle business on Sunday's" and he kept
Going on about it. After a no response to my comment I hung up.

I received a call from this number about 6:40 pst 04/06/16.He asked for donations for disabled vets.I told him I was too disabled for which I have been for 5 years.Where is my donation?

I just got a call too. Seems like this person or company is calling everywhere at this moment...

same number called twice and just hung up upon hearing my voice both times. Bizarre.

Same as everyone else. Missed call, no message.

Picked up the call. The guy asked if "the head of household was available". I said "no", since I guessed he was going to try and sell me something. He said he would just call back later, so i said "or don't" and hung up.

Asking for Santos

Asked for Todd, on my cell. Number now blocked, but likely now will be getting tons of calls since they verified the number.

Called my cell. Ask for someone I never heard of. Told him he had the wrong number. He said well maybe you can help me and just kept talking. I had to just tell him to shut up and listen to what I had to say and put me on the Do Not Call list.

I received a call from this number, on caller ID it said DAV. The number listed was 213-785-1848, from Los Angeles, CA. I have donated in the past to the DAV so I took the phone call. It sounded like it was a recording of a man's voice with a southern accent doing a pitch to get donations so I interrupted and asked if it was a real person. The man's said "Uh, huh." I then started talking and laughing and chatting with him about how you can't tell who's calling you these days. The man's voice said, "Uh huh and started laughing too. I then tried to ask it if he was calling to get donations for the DAV. The voice said, "Ok, I'll update our records, thank you, goodbye." I said, "Wait, wait.." and it hung up on me. This was a more advanced form of Robocalling.  I believe it was reacting to my responses to sound like I was really talking to someone.  I contacted the real DAV and they said there have been a lot of scammers using names similar to theirs and other charities and they are the victims of these scammers and making the real charities look bad.

Called my cell, no msg left.  Based on these notes, added to blocked list.

Yep. Same as above. 10:42AM Monday morning. Called my mobile#. Left no message. Blocked.

Called my cell at 10:00 am on 4/11/2016.  I did not answer it because I did not recognize the number.  I do not answer numbers I do not recognize. They did not leave a message.

When you answer your phone to numbers you do not know, your phone number is resold to other fake non-profits and telemarkerters.

A call from this Los Angeles VOIP number arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, only dead space.  This behavior is typical of robocallers who use automated dialers to place calls in a desperate search for victims.

Kudos to Joanne (see above) who has unmasked the caller as a charity fraudster who solicits contributions by falsifying the name of a known, legitimate charity.  The number from which the fraudster is phoning has only had activity in the month of April 2016, but already www.whitepages.com classifies the number as "scam or fraud."  Who'da thunk?

This numbered called, i never pick up unknown numbers and they didnt leave a message so they are now blocked.
