- jacqueline| 2 repliescall i answered and said hello several times before they hung up on me never said any thing jsut hung up
- Caller: unavailable
- jacqueline replies to jacquelinethis is a no profit organization to help home owner with mortgage problems the give you and 800 number to contact them for help or the give you and option to be removed from there list up to you which you do
- Jay-RYes I received the dreaded hang up call from this number. I called it back ad got their 800 number so I called it. The gentleman said it was a non profit org trying to help with mortgage problems. I informed him I would call a lawyer and find out just how legit they are and told him "remove my number from the list". After I once again informed him I would file a complaint with the new goverment agency Consumer Protection he assured me my number would be removed.
Here is my take on these "legitimate companies". If they were actually legit they would leave a voice message. I have a anti telemarketer vm on my number.
On top of everything else it is my cell number and even if they are a non profit org are not suppossed to call a cell number!
FCC complaints do no good. Those people are just sitting there collecting paychecks and thats about it. I have filed three FCC complaints on organizations and I received the exact same chain letter respons to my complaints.- Caller: They Claim to be Non Profit
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Dana| 1 replyI said hello and a message started tp play, message said they were from "somewhere" (I didn't understand what they said) and that my debit card had been locked. I hung up at that point. It wasn't my bank, and I'm sure my debit card is just fine. It was very similar to the bogus calls that said they were from Chase bank a few months ago.
- Call type: Prank
- LizI just got a call from this number. I didn't catch what organization it was from, but it was a recording saying that my debit card has been locked. I highly doubt that because it was not from my bank.If you get one of these calls, do NOT give out any of your banking info!!
- K| 1 replySomeone calling from Grow Financial saying my debit card had been locked, and if I wanted to activate it, enter my card number. Too bad I don't have a Grow Financial account.

- Drifter33I received a call from this number today. A recorded message stated that my account "has been locked." The recording then prompted me to press 1 if I wished to unlock my account or 2 if I "wished to leave." By this point I'm thinking this is a scam to get my card info. I was right.
I hit 1 to see what it would prompt me to do after that. I was told to enter my "16-digit credit card number followed by pound." I waited. I recorded the silence and asked if I wanted to enter my card number or leave again. So I hung up and called the number back several times and each time it would pick up the line, it hung up on me after 3-4 seconds.
