they called me for 3 days in a row, twice a day, asking for the building maintenance manager. They are offering to send out a newsletter about making your building safer, yet they do not tell you what type of services or products they are offering. It might be just a scam to get your name and address for their listings so they can resell your information for profit.

One of my clients in NY called in and his blocked number showed up as the 213-806-9000.  Strange, he is not a telemarketer or anything and he has a 718 area code.

When I called back that number, it just goes to "(3 musical notes, then "Your call cannot be completed at this time LS7").

This is a scammer.  Called me twice on Sunday Morning saying the US post office has a package they could not deliver on Saturday, but will deliver on Sunday provided I Wire $350 to Zicko Peterkin

I cussed him out and told him I was sending the cops after him.

Called and asked if I was a business. When I said no, they responded with 'sorry wrong number'. They did take a moment to respond when I answered, as though my phone was dialed automatically by some sort of automated phone farm system.

Just heard beeps, when i tried to call back it said "sorry, all circuits are busy" so i looked them up here and i'm so glad you guys are doing this so i know it wasn't a call from a potential employer for my husband!  THANK YOU

Just called my brother-in-law in LA from my phone (blocked, in NY). He said the caller ID came up as 213-806-9000. I have Optimum Voice w/Cablevision and am on the phone with them as I type to report this and try to find out if someone has co-opted my services somehow, via the Internet.

I hope they catch whoever is doing this!!

I just got a call from this number, when i call back my cell just hangs up the call after dialing it.

Getting several calls from this number every day.  Haven't answered yet.  But it's eating up my cell minutes....

I was contacted by HARRIS BRADLEY from Craigslist.com, answering an ad about an apartment in Los Angeles, CA. He told me he was a Rev. doing missionary work in West Africa and to contact his wife JOY DERRICK in New Jersey to rent the apartment. When I emailed her, I was sent fraudulent pictures of an apartment that doesn't exist. Then I was asked to wire the first month's rent - $555 - to his "secretary," LAWAL LATEEF, in Nigeria.
The idiot followed up with a phone call from this phone number. He has called me about 6 times so far today but has blocked his number ever since that first time when I mentioned that he was calling me with a local number. The phone number can be traced to Gardena, CA and a carrier called Blue Licenses Holdings, LLC. They might just be one of those phone routing companies that route international calls through U.S. phone numbers. That means these scam artists can be all different people being routed through the same phone number. Awesome.

So far I've reported him to Craigslist, Western Union and the Internet Crime Complaint Center. WATCH OUT FOR THESE EMAIL ADDRESSES AND NAMES!!!!!!!!!!

I was also contacted by "Bassy Bradley" from responding to an ad in Boston for a Craigslist apt listing, and he gave me the email address of his wife Joy Derrick as joy.derrick1@gmail.com, and I googled that number and found this blog: deannesmith.blogspot.com citing the same scam as well as this 800Notes post.  I caught on to the scam right away and haven't responded, but would like to somehow catch the scam artists.  Any suggestions?

Scam they advertised a unit for rent in Surry hills australia cheap rent all to good to be true.. stupid me gave away personal details but no money thank god!
Oh yea they claim to be in love with god also... they are destined for the complete opposite!
They will be caught messed with the wrong person this time!

Just called me and silence on the other end. I have gotten a lot of these calls lately. From various scams. I wonder how they get the phone numbers they are calling.

I have answered as well to an advert on craigslit about a very cheap flat in mayfair. A man John Bradley asked me to contact his wife Joy Derrick in New Jersey. I just double checked on google and find out about previous cases with the same people. I am chocked.

Apparently craigslist haven't destroy those advert !!!

Continue calling every day around 10:00AM -- this has been going on for over a week.  These folks NEVER leave a message if answering machine is on.  Caller ID reports 1 213 806 9000

I have been receiving calls from this number for several weeks now. A recording asks for a "Hal Goldstein" stating that "due to the sensitive nature of this call, no other details can be given."  It prompts me to remain on the line to speak with an agent; I do, so that I can tell them that I don't know this person (it sounds like a call from a collector).  One time I was connected, and the person on the other end stated that he was sorry and that no other calls would be made to my number.  Then, a few days later, they started again. I decided to try to speak to someone again, but this time I was on hold for several minutes and then was disconnected.  I tried to call back, but then I get a signal as if the line has been disconnected.  Now that I read the postings here, it makes me suspicious that they're not a legitimate company.  Very annoying!! They call me at all hours of the day, including very early in the morning on a Saturday!!
