When ever i try to call someone in my contact list my phone calls this numbwr

Whenever I dial a number in my Mobile to call Canada this number 213-808-6199 comes up instead of a correct dialing number.
A voice message announces  the time remaining in a prepaid phone card though I do not use prepaid phone card.

The very same has happened to me Thao...It started as a 416 number and when u tried to call it back it modified the call to this 213 number and I got the same recording as you....

For me I have v247 and if I try to call international I have to call 213-808-6199 first. After calling the number it tells me how much I have on my account to call, my case is a $5 card that comes with my monthly $25 plan. After it tells you how much it asks you to input the number you want to call, then it should connect.

Is there somebody that's forcing you to? You certainly wouldn't have to and it's better if you don't.

This number is the international call portal for many H2O wireless and AT&T accounts, and yours as well.  What's happening is that the number stored in contacts your sim is redirecting to this portal number start with the area code and do not include the United States country code (1) in them.  If you add a 1 to the front of the telephone number in the effected contacts it will stop redirecting them to the international portal number.  Example: number in contacts (123) 456-7890, number in contacts after correction 1 (123) 456-7890
