If you find any information on that number, please post it. A guy I'm talking to has had me calling that number constantly because he claims that he works for the company and that the number belongs to a clothing company.

on march 24, 2012 a call was received from number 630-529-1659. the person claimed to be from a company that works for windows. they said i had a virus and only they can fix it. they had me download a sftware called teamworks so that they can access my computer. they also told me to call back a mr. dan parker at 213-839-6802. we did not bother to call back. not sure what they hoped to accoplish by doing this stunt. if anyone has information about a scam or criminal intent please provide information. thank you for reading this post and hope no one suffered and personal harm.

Just talked to a guy basically said he was from microsoft and he made me download a program so they can look at all the virus's on my computer, and he ended up trying to get me to pay 59.99 off a microsoft page they put on my computer. As soon as I said i was not going to pay for the program he said that is all he could do, we also heard whispering on the phone. My son was telling me this was a scam the whole time I did not believe him tho.

My husband had me talk to them I did not want I felt as if it was a scam. I did though and they took control of my computer then asked me to do some thing that I would have to pay for. I asked for a number and said I would call back. I did not but they called me the next day. I said about 5 times I did not want their services and them the guy who said his name was mark told me to go f**k myself and hung up. I called the number back and they tried to say it wasn't them.

These guys claim to be microsoft representatives and ask for IP adress to look at your computer for viruses and corrupt files etc. They want to sell you some type of software, in this case he wanted to do it by setting up a paypal account. Sounds like a scam to me.

got a call from a guy who sounded like he was from India and said he was from a company called windows pc. I said oh, you are from microsoft. he said no , dont take any calls from microsoft it is a scam.. go figure. anyway he wanted to access my pc for the same virus going around and I told him i needed his phone # to call back. he said ask for dominic at 213-839-6802. these guys think most americans were born yesterday.

Same MO here.  Claimed to be from Microsoft, had an Indian accent, wanted access to the targets personal computer.  My elderly mother-in-law is getting calls from this guy and so far she has not followed thru (on my advice), but she is tempted.  Thanks to this web site I can tell her definitively that it is just another scam.

How did they get into my computer? I had a call Mark at this number who wanted me to pay out of my pocket?    Can I use my computer?  Is it corrupted?  Help asap please

These guys are really scam artists that prey on old folks and others not knowledgeable on computers. They use high pressure tactics and fear to sell their services using agents with poor English.. The pretend to be Windows Service Co, but are not connected to Microsoft. Beware of allowing them to access to your computer. They hooked my daughter to accepting a scan and installed a program which removed all of her programs and personal data. She then told them that she did not want the service and we found that her computer was blocked by the programs that they installed and could not even boot up. They have called many times wanting payment for their services and wanted $200 to restore her computer. Fortunately her Dell computer had a program that would restore to factory condition and then we could boot up. But now we have to reinstall all the software but her documents are lost. Fortunately we have backups of the important documents. They have now called to threaten to sue. Can you believe the nerve of these guys. They should be arrested for cyber crime.
