This number called me saying they that there was a complaint against me and I have to appear in court and call their mediation office. Also that they'll show up at my home and place of employment.

I received the same phone call asking for a Stacy someone and that she had a litigation against her and a court appearance.  I called the number back to inform them that they had a wrong phone number.  No one answered.  Not sure what company this is?

What became of it? Did they show up at your house or your place of employment. They are telling me the same thing.

Received two calls from this number stating that they would show up at my home and place of employment. Have no idea what this is about. Any information from others would be greatly appreciated.

I also got calls from this number i thought it was a joke myself. so i took no action towards it and last Tuesday August 5th someone showed up with the county sheriff and sure enough had me sign for some court documents.

They were supposed to show up on July 28th. Never did.  
I called the number back and I asked him what company he worked for. Then I asked where this company was located and be said, "We have a few locations, but I work at the one in New York" so I asked why is it a Los Angeles number and he asked me why I'm asking. Then I asked him what was the address and he hung up on me. LOL.

It's a scam. They were supposed to show up at my place of employment on July 28th. Never did. Just a bunch of scammers.

You obviously work for whatever scam or collection company that's making these calls.

Were they real documents? I got one call at home and just found out they called my place of employment. How can I be sure this is a scram or for real?

No one will ever call you and tell you that they're coming to serve you. That defeats the whole purpose. If they needed to find you, they'll find you. They won't need to call you to say they're coming to serve you. That's illegal.

Garden variety kitchen-table debt scammers looking around for a victim they think is vulnerable.  They tend to pick on women, single mothers an the elderly.   Also anyone they thin might have had financial difficulty at one point or another in their lvies.
Ignore them.  Ignore their threats.  Block their calls.  Don't talk to them, don't give them any information.

Consider it DONE! Just BLOCKED this number (and another one, also) from my line. I'd pay ANYTHING to see the looks on the faces of those SUCKERS, when they try to call me again! :-p
