Scammer. Sent me a text wanting me to send him an email. Looking for personal ID.

Sent e a text wanting me to send details and & price to phi4blu@gmail.com    The text read:  We're relocating to the area & your furniture on Craiglist will suffice for now.  Pls send the details & price to my fiancee's email at phi4blu@gmail.com

Also tried to get info from me from a Craiglist item I have up for sale. BEWARE!!

First I received two emails for my Craiglist ad with different names bu the same wording and errors,  I emailed back a phone number before I caught on.  Then I got a text about my add with the phi4blu@ gmails scam as if it was a completely new person and story.  Too bad they forgot the craigslist ad was blind and didn't have my phone number in it.

Same report as others, wants Craigslist listing info. Don't bother with these scammers.

Received a text re: a craigslist ad, asking to email their boyfriend at work. Provided email as lipblu8@gmail.com

Received text as follows: "I saw your antique on Craigslist and my fiancee wants the details and price sent to his email at lipblu8@gmail.com   He is paying and is at work now."  Does anyone understand how these people texting me will benefit if I send them an email?  I am going to ignore this.  Glad that all the people have written about their experiences.  Thanks.

Just got on from this number about my Craigslist ad. Said his fiancé forwarded it to him and couldn't see it. To send him info and price to the lipblu8@gmail

‭+1 (213) 905-7617‬ Texted me and when I asked his name & how did he get my # he wouldn’t tell. Then he texted asking if I was from the website. I told him I didn’t know what he was talking about and he texted back “Well I wanted to see if you had time for a sección and also I think your hott”
I got scared and said that if wouldn’t tell me his name I was gonna say goodbye, which I did. Then I blocked his number.

Thanks for the reply; I appreciate it. I'm not in town now, so meeting in person is out of the question because of my work schedule plus my family is somewhat busy preparing for my first daughter's wedding. I'm okay with the price and condition. The mode of payment will be via my Company’s Check and it will be sent by UPS Overnight delivery. When you receive the payment and it clears your bank, I will make arrangement for the pick-up. I will be adding an extra $50 just so I can have an upper hand over other potential buyers as I understand I may not be the only interested buyer. Should you agreed to sell to me; I will need the name you want written on the check, the address you want the payment sent out to, your cell phone will be appreciated too (that you can be reached during the day) and finally what your overall total (plus the $50) will be; so as to be on the same page. OMG! I got this EXACT message today as well. From the same person and email address.

Scammer is using the emails: lipblu8@gmail.com as well as barneykeith45@gmail.com on craigslist response scam. Watch out!

I got the same email.  I am glad that I thought it sounded fishy and did a search.

I got the same exact message via email. i thought it was weird, He also said he's in the Navy and deployed right now. Sent a check for way more than the item. I'm reporting it to my local authorities. The check is from 29Mallard LLC I didn't find any company by that name on line.
