call came in about 5:40pm.  answered but no one spoke.  says from Los Angles area but another search showed call came from off the coast of W. Africa!!!

I just looked at my checking account and this same number appears on my account as a donation, I called to see who it is and they say thank you for your donation. Sorry I don't donate funds to anyone unless I am handing it to them.

Bank statement said $10 mobile donation. Definitely fraud!

I too, just reviewed my bank account and found a charge for $30 for mobile donation - I tried calling but just answering machine........Not Happy!

Just received my new credit card statement with a $10.00 charge on it for mobiledonation 213-973-9703 CA.  I called that number and got voice mail; I asked them to call me back on my land line.  About 10 minutes later my cell rang, showing an 818 area code number, and text that read, "$1.00 a minute."  I was on the phone with my credit card company and did not answer the cell.  Totally bogus.  More thieves at work.

Update!!! This was a legitimate charge for pizza for Patriots - nothing bogus about this!!! I went totally blank about this donation. This is a very worthy cause that sends pizza to the troops!!
I am so sorry for being such a lamebrain and forgetting what this was for. These people are great!!

Found a $100 charge on my credit card bill from this number where it states "mobiledonation."  I never made this donation.

Please refrain from using caps. It is a violation of the terms of service.

Just checked my bank account. I found an unknown charge from mobiledonation with this phone number. I did not donate anything to them. This is a scam.

1.  Call your bank and tell them!
2.  Sign up for ID theft protection ... if the bad guys have your bank account numbers, they might also have other ID info!

Fraudulent charge appeared on my credit card account.  Called Chase and their security division is issuing a new card immediately.  Chase is EXCELLENT about keeping track of purchases, by the way.

My VISA card got two times charge of $25 on same day.  I never do this donation and want to remind everyone be careful about this number (213-973-9703 in CA) related charges.

I made a legitimate donation to the Salvation Army online.  The charge came through as "mobiledonation 213-9739703 CA".  Good thing I kept track of date and organization because the charge description had nothing about the Salvation Army as the recipient.  I am now going to wait for a donation letter from them affirming it really did go to them!

I made a legitimate donation to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and it came through on my credit card as a charge to mobiledonation with this telephone number.

I think this is a scam never donate over a phone . This people are in diffent county's report them this a spoof number

There are two charges on my credit card statement for $50 each to MOBILEDONATION. They both have the same transaction date, the same reference number and the exact same amount. A call to their phone number in California at 213-973-9703 got me a fast unintelligible voice mail which ended with a promise to call back because they are very busy right now. Needless to say, they did not call back. My credit card company has put both charges in dispute.

My last credit card statement showed a charge of $150 which I do not recognize. called 2139939703 , left message on answering machine, no reply
Alerted the credit card co. to dispute the charge
 seems like illegitimate gang

My charge was legitimate.  This represented my donation to Live Action (www.liveaction.org), a charitable organization.
