214-000-0000

I am getting calls from 214-000-0000 night and day.  214 is the Dallas, TX area code.  They don't leave a message.  I Googled the number and many, many websites list it as their number, everything from the Dixie Chicks to just regular businesses.  I see one guy says it was Republicans calling trying to sell him on a candidate.  It's not listed in the reverse directory.  Extremely annoying.  It says it's a wrong number if you try to call it back.

I get the call around 2:15 every day.  No one ever answers.  I've also tried calling it back and at first I was told it's a private network and then I was told it is a wrong number.  I stopped answering the call and let the answering machine pick it up.  After the answering machine starts talking, they hang up.  Same thing if I answer, after they hear me speak, they hang up.  Such an annoyance.

I just got that from AT&T

We get a call from this number several times a week.  When I answer it, they always say, "Sorry, I have the wrong number," and hang up.  Are they scouting to see which phone lines have live people at the end of them, or what?

The first calls that I received they hung up pn me, and than week later...


She called again but this time she said is from yellowpages.com her name is Melissa and she is calling to update your info. But this is not true people never give any info over the phone! I told her I already update my info with my sales rep. and I dont want to receive more calls about that.
She said okay and hang up!

they said that they worked for AT&T.....trying to telling me about the service I have from them.....i told them "then why you guys hiding your number behind 214-000-0000....she was kinda mumbling something....i hung up.

I get this same phone call everyday.  As soon as i pick up and talk, they hang up.  It is very annoying so now I have fun with it.  Pick up and scream and cuss like you have tourettes and you'll have fun too!

I have yet to have anyone speak back to me but boy do i have a prank for them!

4:17 PM EST - First time I received this call. Male voice - asked if he was speaking to Jxx. I asked who was calling. (You know the kind of manners you're Mother taught you. Identify yourself first and then ask for someone.) He asked if he was speaking to Jxx. Two more rounds of this and he hung up.

I received a call from this number.  They did not leave a message and you can't find out any information about how they are.  Very frustrating.  We are on the do not call list too.

received a call from 214-000-0000 person on other end stated they were from a sister co from a mortgage co i'm dealing with and he did have factual figures and accounts but didn't really say why he called and then hung up....i then called the mortgage co and asked them about this call i received and they didn't have a clue.....

I have received 4 calls today from this #.  I don't pick it up, I let voicemail pick it up, but they never leave a message.  Yeah, it's very annoying.  I don't plan to pick it up at any time; I wonder when they will get the message.

They have called me twice, and I let machine get both times.  I am very surprised to hear they hang up if you answer.  What is this?

No. 214-000-0000 has called me twice this week (for the first time). This number is very unusual, and to my way of thinking, should not be a real number.
-I am on Do Not Call list, but I get many calls just the same from 800, 877, 866 numbers. I never answer, and they always hang up when machine comes on.

214-000-0000 called again last night, and for first time I answered it. A man asked me if I would vote for something re: Parkland Hospital on Nov 4 ballot (connection wasn't very clear). I told him I would read the ballot and make a decision.
That seemed straightforward, but could have been bogus, for what reason I don't have a clue.

This number calls my cell phone constantly - sometimes as a recording to see if someone answers and then sometimes with a live person.  They need to be reported.  They lie and harrass.

I just got a call from this number, there was no one there when I answered......when I called the number back I got the "we're sorry...the number you have reached has been disconnected..." message....very bizarre...AND annoying!

Another annoying and scam call.  No one will answer if you pick up so don't waste your time. Report this number to the no call list and maybe something will be done about it.

It's like the Ring, the curse of the call, or something lol. Once you have heard of this horrific nightmare of people calling with noone there, you are next :O
