No one was on line. Nothing when I used Called ID

Called then hung up when asked for a message

The caller ID simply showed as "Texas"
Trying to sell me an extended car warranty.  They announce they are from 'the Warranty Department" but would not answer my question about what the name of their company was.  They knew what car I owned (public records) and told me my warranty expired - wrong - I already have an extended warranty from the factory, I guess they can't get that info from public records.

Pretty much same as every other report. When confronted with any hard questions as to who they were, they hung up. I reported them to the national do not call registry.

Same as "annoyed" said. They were telling me my warranty had expired on a vehicle that my family has not had for several years(I did not inform them that the car was sold). I started pressing questions for a contact number and the person on the phone was obviously getting flustered and I could physically hear here get up and walk to give the phone to a supervisor. He told me that they were based in Florida but refused to give me a specific address. He did tell me that his supervisors number was 855-360-7000 x3402 Name- Nick Smith. Sounded bogus to me on the phone and he was really trying to hang up. I asked him to remove me from his call list or else yadayadayada.

Dead air at the other end.  FYI, real North America phone numbers don't have a 0 after the area code. You can tell when the number comes up that it isn't real: 214-[0]82-1956

Received call from this #. No message left. When I called it back, Verizon wireless message stated number was no longer in service, either changed or disconnected. How do you call from a disconnected line?

Caller ID came up as "Name Not Found." We never answer calls that do not clearly identify the caller.

That's exactly what tipped me off too .. the 0 ..  so tired of junk calls. Seems like the DNC list doesn't do diddly anymore.

Shows up as TEXAS on caller ID.  I don't answer unless I recognize the #.  No message left.
