Left a garbled message saying they were calling from Nissan.  Sounded bogus.

Just had this call as well. I finally answered after seeing it come up 3 times a day all week. Guy knew my name and asked if I was still driving our Nissan Titan, which is my husband's truck. I told him to get to the point because I'm working and he said he would call back later. I told him do not call back later. We shall see.

Answered the call and nobody ever said anything. I said "HELLO" three times then hung up. We'll see if they call back!

Said nothing.

said hello... noone every said anything. Then the call went dead.
They called earlier today and i did not answer.

THEM: "Hello, is this (myname)?"
ME: "Yes."
THEM: "I'm with the Vehicle Processing Center, and I'm calling about (car type; I did have this car, but I haven't owned it for almost 2 years)."
ME: "I don't have a (car type)."
THEM: "Did you sell it?"
ME: "What is this about?"
THEM: "Did you sell the car?"
ME: "What is this regarding?"
THEM: "Yes? Did you sell the car? Is that a yes?"
ME: "Why are you calling?"
THEM: "I'm asking you if you sold the car."
ME: "I'M asking YOU why you're calling."
THEM: "I'M in control of this conversation!"
ME: "No, I don't think you are." *hangs up*

3rd time they are calling from 214-085-6321.  I have had this cell phone number for thirteen years.  Every time they call they ask for Amy.  I say there isn't anyone here by that name and they hang up.  I can't even tell them to take this number off the call list.  Whomever they are calling has given them a bogus number which turned out to be mine.

Person stated that they were calling from the "Vehicle Processing Center" inquiring about a 2008 car that we no longer own.. I told him we got a call about this two nights ago and just as I was going to tell them to take me off the call list he hung up.. Lots of noise in background... These people need to be stopped.. so annoying!

Not recognizing the caller's number, I let the phone ring.
After 4 rings my answering machine is activated.
Surprisingly, the caller chose not to leave a message.

Same here answered the call she asked about a Toyota I had 1 year ago. I said I don't have it no more. Then she hung up. Called Dallas PD.

Just got a call from this number--only a hissing static when I answered, thank goodness.

received a two calls back to back from this number. Voice mail picks up after four rings.  they are like "hello (my name).......Hello (my name)"   Apparently they were not on the line to start with or they would have heard my voicemail message and would have known they were talking to my voicemail.  They hung up.  I never answer my home phone.  I receive an email informing me what number called and if they left a voice mail.

They called for my mom and would not tell me what the call was regarding. I told him I need to know why he is calling before he can talk to her. They hung up.

Asked about a car I no longer have. I told them that and she said I'll take you off the list and hung up.

called me and I got no response when I said hello rather harshly (tend to do that when it's a number I don't recognize).

This number called my cell but I didn't pick up and they did not leave a voicemail. I called the number back from a land line and got a message that the call can't be completed as dialed.

Just got a second call from whoever this is today. I didn't answer, no message left.

Caller ID just said TEXAS
