BEWARE! SCAM! Claimed to be Department of Treasury threatening legal action. Tried to call back and got hung up on. Google it and it is NOT   legitimate!

Spam calling said call before legal action will be taken... sound like there're  reading never say who they are

Same recorded message on my answering machine today.  Something about the treasury department and threatening legal action if we don't respond.  Ended with "help me help you".  Definitely a scam.

No identifying information on the message. The message further does not indicate who it is for. Just says trying to contact "you." "Ignoring this message will be an intentional second attempt to avoid an initial appearance before a magistrate judge or grand jury." The person on the message is heavily accented, not suitable for recording finically. He cannot say the letter "v."

I got the same message as listed above... that they were calling as a second attempt & that they wanted to "help us help you" avoid  going before a judge or grand jury.  I'm going to call these mother-effers til they have to disconnect this number!!!  This infuriates me to no end, just to know that someone will fall for it.  I've had the "IRS" scammers call me too & I called THEIR number back over & over until they had to disconnect the number... to all hours of the night.  I'm about to do the same here too!  These people are jerks to the capital "J"!!!

Have been receiving daily threatening phone calls from ripple with foreign accents stating that the IRS is demanding immediate back payment on taxes owed or I will face prison time I am never mentioned by name they kept saying "you".

Just received same threatened action, scam, scam.

Yep, got the same threatening message today.

Same Scammer Called me

214-247-7139 Cedar Hill, TX called twice. Asked that I return the call regarding "MY FEDERAL CRIMINAL OFFENSE" Advised me to cooperate in order for them to help me. MENTIONED GRAND JURY etc,

threat of legal action if i didn't call back.  Man did not leave a name.

Scam - caller sounded like he had an accent - possibly Russian?

I told them to "Bring your ass over and get it, I'll be waiting with my 45's "

yup, got the same threatening message as everyone else - don't think the caller named which agency he was calling from, just vague threats of some kind of legal action, Grand Jury was tossed in there somewhere.

These guys know nothing about our legal system.  A federal tax action would not involve a MUNICIPAL judge.

It is no Russian, real Maxican accent!! He is not from Europe!!!

This is a SCAM. Did not know my name, did not leave his name, asked to call back 214-247-7139, said something about Treasury and Federal Crime. Bullcraps.

Same recording left on message machine.  No identification, no specific claim, "help me help you" always suspicious
