I received a call from 214-269-5274 at work.  I looked up this number and it was showing to be a real estate, but when I called it showed to be Vandenberg Chase and Associates.  How can I get them to stop calling at my previous job?

I got a call from this number giving me a case number and saying it was a serious matter and to call them back or have my lawyer call them back. Said they were Vandenberg, Chase and Associates. I also saw that this was a real state firm and going through a lot of these sites, it's come back as a singles hotline, a debt collector, a real estate company or a telemarketer. I'm kinda worried. Should I attempt a callback?

They keep calling my no. and asking for someone that doesn't live here. We are nearing 80 yrs. old and we are in bad health and they keep on harassing us. How can we get them to stop bothering us>

I received a call from this #, when I called back a woman answered Vandenburg, Chase & Assoc. When I asked what they were, she responded with their name again. When I said but what kind of company are you, she repeated the name and asked if I was ...... ss#.... I said no and she hung up. Is this a collection agency or what? Anybody know?

Yes they are zombie debt collector, they resort to use illegal tactics, such as stating that your name is named in a pending case,...etc.  When they are using the 214-269-5274 number (which is illegal), it is actually a jumper number to make you think that they are calling locally, which they are not. They are located in Georgia.  This company isn't on the up and up, if they were, then they would not be vague when calling, they would also send a written letter within 10 days of initial contact. They would not ask for your ssn over the phone,  don't believe anything they tell you.  Most of these types of collectors, are commission only on a percentage of what they intimidate you into paying.  Report them to the FTC complaints, there are a number of court filings against them due to their ILLEGAL tactics.  Legitimate collection companies are not afraid to give you their mailing address and they will not harass you endlessly with phone calls and threats, as this too is against law.  Read up on the Fair Debt Collection law, educate yourself, and don't fall for their annoying tactics.

They just keep calling! I have called back repeatedly and they hang up on me.  The lady answered the phone as Hollender Chase and Assoc.   Have no idea what this is about.  Wish they would either talk to me or quit calling.  I am blocking them from my phone.

They have called serveral times to my work # as well as my cell number. They are claiming top be a law firm and I have a serious matter with my  ss # and personal information. How do they get this information??? Anyway... Leave me alone!!

I receive frequent calls from this number asking for someone else. I need it to cease and desist at once. There are laws against this form of unacceptable harassment.

My husband’s friend called today to let us know he keeps getting calls from 1-214-269-5274 asking for my husband and requesting a call back. When we called the number it was for HOLLANDER CHASE & ASSOCIATES when we pushed 0 for an operator it would hang up every time. We were never able to speak to anyone. It asked you to speak to someone in the legal outsource dept. if you have been recently served a court summons regarding a lawsuit in this office or  enter an extension and when I entered ext 374 it was for a  Ms. Edwards with Peter, Simon and Associates and she asked to leave a message and she would return the call with in 24 hrs. We did not leave any info...

I ALSO have recieved a call from this number about a lawsuit? im worried but i have not done anything so what is this about?

did you ever get a responce from your husbands friend? i have no clue what this is about? i will call tommorrow and find out if they keep hanging up on me and keep calling idk what i will do.

Rec'd numerous calls from the 214-269-5274 number. When I answwer the call there is none on the line. I called the number back but get no response. Notified the FTC to no avail. My local Represenatives Office was called about it but they don't seem to want to know or do anything either. I told their office that I would be voting for someone else this next election and hung up. If I ever get a response from this 214-269-5274 again I'm going to give them my office number (My local Represenative) and have them call there.

I have no idea who these people are and I didn't recognize the number and they didn't leave a message, but I would love for them to stop calling my cell...how do I make them stop?????

I called the number (214) 269-5274, spoke with an agent named Nicholas. Nicholas removed my number from their list and was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I guess it's true ... if you put out pleasant karma, it will be returned.

My guess is you have already begun receiving calls from them again, or you will be shortly.  Sounds like Nicholas has a conscience...I bet Nicholas is no longer employed there.

Continued calling on my Vonage phone number without leaving a message.

I keep getting calls from this number. for someone that doesn' live here. They give a case number and demand a return call. Today they called again and when I answered they hung up with out saying anything.How do you stop this kind od harrassment?

I have received numerous calls from this number.  It is always for someone else.  They have called three days in a row now about the same time of day.  How do I get this number blocked from my phone.
