- Mitzi| 6 repliesI thought this was a scam call, but when I called back it was an attorney handling a case from a previous loan I had forgotten about. I worked with Christina Marrie and she was able to give me a good settlement to resolve it. If you work with her, you may get a good one.
- Get a Life replies to Mitzi| 1 replyI always get much amusement from these comments considering they are someone that is apart of the collection agency. You are full of it and you know it. This is a bogus collections agency like every other single one. DO NOT give them any of your information. They CAN NOT threaten you with going to jail, garnishment of wages, calling the police or anything. They CAN NOT call anyone you know and give them any personal information about you. If they were a legit attorney anything they would send you the original paperwork or contract with the loan place they say you owe. When you ask them to send you any of that they will most times get very defensive and rude. They will never send you the paper work you ask for. Don't let these scum bags upset you. They are the lowest of the low and I really have no idea how they sleep well at night. I hope they get paid better than a doctor for what they do to people.
- geriPlease take my number off your call list.
- Jacqueline bickemsThey are calling about a 10years old loan that I had

You are a LIAR, a SHILL & a FRAUD!
One day you ignoramuses will learn that posting BS on this site is counter-productive. Probably not any day soon though. None of you belly-crawling, cowardly bogus debt collectors are hired for your intelligence.
I'm going to give you a little tip "Melissa". Don't EVER make the mistake of believing that you'll only be addressing your targets on this site. There is a group of people here who know far more about the debt collection industry than you EVER will. We know the legitimate side, we know the putrid side of it that you're on. We can spot a two-bit Shill before the clown finishes its first sentence. We can detect the odor of people like you "Melissa" all the way through the 'net.
People can see through fraud-shops like yours "Melissa" by simply pushing six keys on their keyboards. Those keys being FDCPA & Enter. They can then read of their rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act & "Voila"! You and your scurrilous gang of gutter scammers are done! You see "Melissa", we know that you don't even know how to compose a valid VOD letter much less dare to mail one out. We know that when you're requested to provide a valid physical address (as required under the FDCPA) you'll refuse to provide one or you'll throw out an address to a box at a UPS store.
I could go on "Melissa". I don't need to. You've done a fine job of proving that you're a fraud all by yourself.
Skeff Ett Liv!

- Pittsburgh Scam Gurus| 4 repliesABSOLUTE TOTAL SCAM. "Stern & Associates" is a FRAUD. They using the technique known as "scare tactics". "Mitzi" & "MELISSA" are FRAUDS. They are what's known as "trolls". The scammers are well aware of blogs such as this, so they have people whose sole function is to seek out consumer sites like this & post testimonials, contradicting any negative info, hoping to sucker consumers who may be confused or on the fence about what's going on. "Stern & Associates" is supposedly a "law firm" located in Florida & Texas -- They do not exist. Since all of us consumers now do so much business online these days, whether it's banking, online loans, shopping, eBay, Amazon, etc, it's relatively easy for them to obtain basic info like your name, SSN, & address. Usually they get a hold of old payday loan/online lending documents & then call consumers to shock & frighten them into thinking they have some outstanding debt from 5, 6, 10 years ago. They are hoping that people are shaken up enough to just pay them over the phone immediately, no questions asked. But as soon as you begin to ask questions & request names, dates, documentation....that's when the scheme falls apart & then they start to give you the runaround. Don't fall for this crap.

- Pittsburgh Scam Gurus replies to MitziWow....Well I spoke with "Christina Marie" this afternoon, & she wasn't helpful at all, because I asked too many questions regarding dates, addresses, original creditor name....I asked about their alleged "numerous attempts" to contact me, as I have had the same number & address for years...Amazing how they can't give me or don't have any info on the original creditor, all they have is my name & SSN, & all they know is I owe $500-$600. Also amazing that a "criminal law firm" doesn't have a physical address, only a PO Box in Dallas TX. "Christina Marie" got so flustered & frustrated that I wouldn't just shut up & pay up, so she ended up hanging up.
They LOOOOVE people like you who just pay up, no questions asked.....Kiss your $$$ good-bye!!!
Psssst.....We all know you are a company troll. - Pittsburgh Scam Gurus replies to MELISSAWow..."Mitzi" & "Melissa", can I please get your numbers so I can call you in a couple weeks & say I'm from "Guru & Associates" & our records indicate that you owe money from 5, 10, 15 years ago? These scammers absolutely LOOOOVE people like you who just pay up, no questions asked.....Kiss that $$$ good-bye!! But hey consider it a donation to the less scrupulous, & chalk it up as a tax write-off.
Psssst.....We all know you two are a company trolls.
"Thanks Stern & Associates -- You Boosted My Credit Score & Saved My Life!!! **Both Thumps Up**"
BaHaHaHa LMFAO - BigA replies to Pittsburgh Scam Gurus| 3 repliesIf you have any information at all on these criminals it would be helpful to post it here. You mentioned that you had a PO box address for them for example.
- Pittsburgh Scam Gurus replies to BigA| 2 repliesStern & Associates, PO Box 9340, Dallas TX 75201. They have a phony website & a fake Facebook page set up, since they know that most smart consumers will immediately Google them as soon as they receive a phone call. You can look at either of them & tell they are phony.
- Pittsburgh Scam GurusI love how their fake webpage says: "To schedule an appointment or find out more about the services we offer, please call 214.269.8283...Christina Marrie Ext 7012", yet they refuse to give their physical address. Do you have to meet at a remote secret location? Do they make housecalls? If they call you, tell them that you aren't comfortable discussing these matters over the phone & would like to personally come to the office for an appointment......

- BigA replies to Pittsburgh Scam Gurus| 1 replyOk thanks, I found them, but whois web site registration makes it look like they are in florida. I have someone checking it out though a better program right now.
- sick of jerks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Received a call for a name that I do not know, and told them so. Then next day they left a message mentioning Stern & Associates and to leave a message? They are so full of it. These jerks need to go to jail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am ignoring them and rejecting their calls so I waste no more time with such low life people.
