Very annoying, have asked whomever to remove my number from their calling list but still receive a call every night around 8pm

I keep getting calls from this number. I have no idea who it is as I have yet to answer it. They call repeatedly a couple times a day.

This number is currently being used by some Eastern European-accented scam artist who calls to try and get you to divulge your personal information. If his phone service supplier could track him, it would be great. Whatever he's planning on doing with your information, his tactics are illegal.

I have been called repeatedly by this number. The caller claim my name is Ashley and that I have potentially won a Cadillac. The caller also state that I have also won a trip. This number call me daily, and refuse to take me off of their list after multiple requests. They refuse to identify themselves and probe me for information.

I have gotten calls from this number everyday for awhile now. So, I finally answered to hear only ambient noise and nobody speaking.  Then then yesterday they called an left a 5 min dead air voice mail. Today, the same 5 min voice mail was just left. HOWEVER, this time is sounded like they were in a room with lots of people speaking a language other than English. At first, it only sounded like a call center, but later in the msg it became clear that it was a more social environment and every once in awhile the voice of a male would speak to someone else in the room, but close to the phone as if he was holding it. WTH!?!?!?!?! Not a valid call...just sayin.  Don't waste your time answering it. :)

I got my cellphone when I lived in Dallas. I'm nowhere close to there now. Just got a call; no voice on the other end; looked here and read the reviews. Thank you for the reports ahead of time !

This number called me and like below she was heavily accented and said i was a top 10 finalist for DirectBuy to win $$ or a Car.  Runners up get giftcards.  Told me that they were located in Coppell and started to give me the address to go to - I cut her off to say I wasn't going anywhere and she hung up on me.

I got call from this number it's weird..

Hard to believe companies actually still do this intrusive kind of telemarketing. Who in their right mind still falls for this type of stuff???

Buyer beware....sheeesh!

The guys running this operation used to own a liquor store, they all had criminal records before changing professions. They claimed this decision to move from one shady scheme to another resulted from one too many robberies, but that really didn't hold up in court. I'm sorry, when you treated me like everyone else, I felt like everyone else.

Folks, don't give these people your time.

i got a call a few minutes ago and i answered... it was a girl and she called me sweetie? i gave the phone to my mom and she told the lady to take me off the calling list....

I just got a call from this number too.  Guy with an Indian accent saying that his name was "Paul" (yea, right) and he was from Direct Buy, and asked if I was familiar with his company.  I told him that I was on a no-call list and the next time he or anyone from his company called, they would be charged $100 on their phone bill, and not to call again.

Just got a call from an person who sounded Indian and claimed too be from Direct Buy. He told me I was one of ten selected to win a car or money. I informed him I was on the do not call list and that I was reporting his number and he hung up after apologizing.

On the average I get calls once amonth from this number saying they are from Direct Buy. I asked how they got my number and they said it was pulled at random. Asked them to take me off of their calling list everytime and all they can say is WHY?? This number needs to be reported to their provider and let them know they are harassing people.

Got a call tonight. Woman sounded Asian. Said something I didn't quite understand and then asked to speak to the owner of the number. I said it wasn't a good time (it wasn't) and hung up.

Ok , they are coming from craigslist. Newly activated phone ,simultaneously same day posted my # to an ad....ring ring, I ingnored it.

this number call me last night at 7pm but I didn't have the chance to answer my phone. I return the call because I post something on craigslist and I thought that could be a potential buyer but the call did't go thru.
the area code is from dallas texas.

Yeah they claim to be with Direct Buy, but I do not believe it. Stating the Direct Buy in Seattle which closed and filed for bankruptcy few years ago. They claim it is now in Bothell and I know that city very well and they must be hidden very well.
Cannot call number back because it is a non working number. Will do no go to report to the Do Not Call Registry if the number is invalid, and they are using a computer to create the phone number and there is no way to know from where or what country they are calling from.

Definately a result of posting on Craigs list.

DIRECT BUY Telemarketer spammers!!!! Must have got my number off of Craigslist ad I was running.
