caller ID no message

Got this call tonight at 8pm, while getting kids ready for bed. Didnt recognise the #, so I was leaving it to the machine, so I could hear who it was first. Hung up before the machine picked up. Upon reading what you folks have to say, I am SO glad I didn't answer, although just for the sake of amusement, I may answer next time just so I can **** with these ppl as they seem to be ****ing with us. Will keep you posted on that!

They called me 3 times in 4  minutes--dead air when I answered.

I did a reverse phone number search.  I got a call on my caller ID from this number.  It says "Wireless Callin", but that is a false!  By going to yellow pages search did not come up with any reverse number listing from www.msn.com  .  This is what I got back is who owns the leased landline.  Maybe that is a way to notify this company directly that we are getting calls that are not of good nature, harassing and even might not be a ligitamate company.  It could be owned by an individual that is randomally calling US Citizens.  Since it says wireless calling on the caller ID it might be household doing this.  It is hard to say, but I'm going to let the company know what is happening.

I will give them a call, I urge others to do the same and let them know what experiences they actually put up with when they actually talked to someone.  Maybe they in turn can do something.  If not, next step is the ATTORNEY GENERAL for TX.  Just google it and you will find him/her.

Get real tired of these calls.  Wish the DNC list would block them also.

Let the phone rang and then the answering machine tried to take a message, but the answering machine could not take the message.  But from the above gripes, it seems like they(or it) are wierd.

Received the call at 6:54PM CDT. I let caller ID catch anything unworthy of my time.

They called today from (214) 283-1316. Someone on this forum said it was Brooks Communication. Brooks is owned by Allstream, in Canada. It appears they are using VOIP as a way to get around the DNC rules. When I answered it was just dead. I'll be calling Allstream Monday to complain.

Received call from this nr but no one talked. Obvious telemarketer scheme ! I hung up.

I answered. Phone hung up. then silence

About 5 pm on a Sunday from 214-283-1316.  Did not answer phone -- I didn't want to talk to "Wireless" anyway!

We called back on this number and was answered by a machine identifying itself as A & F Research and they are doing a survey.  We are on a DNC list so therefor they will be reported.

DITTO TO ALL THE ABOVE. Keep getting this call and no one answers, or they  hang up when answering machine picks up.

Call was surveying about the economy for "radio and television". Yeah right, seems like a political agenda is behind this one.

I received a call from 1-214-283-1316, Irving, TX at 7:56 P.M. tonight.  I was on a long distance call, so I didn't answer it.  As someone suggested, I called it back, just now.  I got a "busy signal".
