called and left no message...my wife tried to call back,but, no response...wished whoever invented these telemarketing calls had them up their "wazoo"

Got called on Friday, travel to their destination and eliminated all of their staff. Cleaned fingerprints traces and DNA Hair. They won't call me again, I'm sure.

I wasn't home when this call came in, so I found it on the Caller-ID.  No message.  I went to anywho.com and didn't find the number.  Ask.com gave me this website.  Now that I see what this number is about, I'm glad I wasn't home to get the call.

I, too, am on the Do Not Call list.  I can't wait to complain to someone about this number (214-283-1316).

Received a call from 214-283-1316 last night at 8:01pm my time.  Caller ID said "Wireless Callin", so we did not pick up the phone.  They did not leave a message.  When I looked up the phone number on 411.com it shows it to be a Land Line out of Dallas, Texas.  Glad I didn't pick up with all of the messages about this number before mine.

Called a New Hampshire resident on 11/29/07. Asked about George Bush and Gov. John Lynch.

They called twice at 8:00 pm two nights last week.  When I
called back, their phone was dead with no busy signal.
Hopefully, they will take my phone number out of their
directory.  Market research companies should be liscenced
by the state they are doing research on.  I am writing a
letter to Gov. Kathleen Sebelious (Kansas) to see if we
can stop calls like this in Kansas.

Got a call about 8:30pm.  Didn't answer as I was putting children to bed.  They didn't leave a message, of course.  After reading all the previous posts, I'm glad I didn't answer the phone!

At 13-Dec-2007 18:20, I received a call from this number.  I did not answer, and no message left on my answering machine.  Google found me this wonderful site.

Got a call from this number, displayed simply as "out of area" did not answer and no message left.  Since area code was Dallas and have family there called back to see if it was important.  Phone rang and then got a voice message no one was available and to leave a message or press '0' so I did and it just rang, no answer.  Hung up!  So tired of this since I am on the DNC list as well.

Apparently, they called last night.  I am surprised that anyone along the telemarketing industry calls me anymore.  I tried being polite and telling them I am not intrested, when they still plow on, I hang up  I get a reschedule call in a couple of weeks (time to cool down?) THEN they try to entice me with some kind of coupon, deal, or 'prize'.  I just hung up.  Now that I have caller ID, (I could just KISS whomever invented that) I do not answer unless I know the #.  It seems tragic that you get spam in your Email, junk mail and chain letters (I get those in snail mail) and now even at home relaxing, you get so and so's (fill in the blank there with your own creative name), so you cannot even have family time without some pest.  Oh yeah, the door to door people to.  I had a couple of JW (Jehovah's Witnesses--whom I usually call WitLesses) just pester me one summer when I had no a.c. and was in my second trimester of pregnancy.  Well, I had recently moved my car from the grass to the paved part of the drive.  It left a large rectangular patch of dead grass... Well, the JW's came in July, when we had triple digit temps, and my mood was very low.  I told them to follow me, and I showed them the dead patch of grass.  I told them that is where I buried the last two JW's who would not leave me alone.  I acted deadpan as I could, and I must have been very convincing.  They could not beat feet out of there quick enough.  I truly expected to hear from the local sheriff, but never did.  Neither did I ever see those JW's again.  Anyhow.  Annoying #'s.  Buy a whistle (I am going to buy a Bobby's whistle as they seem to echo better) and blow it into the phone next time they call.  Also, a 160db personal alarm seems to be a good idea.  Let them call again....heh heh heh...

Wireless call Nov 13

Received call, IDer said Dallas, TX. My Tele-Zapper might have zapped them because there was a dial tone after it did its thing. Several attempts to call them back brought 10-15 sec of silence and then weak voice saying number could not be reached as dialed. Call came in abt 4:30 Sunday afternoon.

Called at 5:35PM Eastern time on Friday, 1/11/2008; caller ID read DALLAS, TX so I didn't answer, and no message was left.  I've read some of the comments on another website on this number about being asked to press a button.  I read an article at a business office that warned people not to press buttons when being tricked into doing so because it opens your line to use.  Judging from some comments on the other website and on this one that a survey is being conducted, it seems it's beyond the purview of the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, but I'll still report it. Also judging from the comments (starting out as a plausible survey and morphing into vulgarity) I think it would fall under the purview of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or Federal Communication Commission (FCC).  It's good to know from everyone's comments that I'm not missing an important call but, rather, avoiding what could amount to a problem.  I'll continue to confidently not answer.
