Called 4:46 PM EST

They called tonight.  It said "Wireless Caller" on the ID so I did not immediately guess it was a telemarketer.  I did not answer and they left no message.  Thanks for sites like this!

Here's the straight scoop as far as I'm concerned:
It's just another computerized telemarketer, Do Not Call list is worth a try but don't rely on the Government to protect you from this kind of pest.  Always check your caller ID for this crap but when there's just too much of it change your number, and this time, be more carefull who you give it out to...

Wow, thanks for letting me know who or who not these people are.  My caller id picked them up as Wireless.  They didn't leave a message.  When I called back, I got dead air.  No ringing or anything.  I will make sure not to answer them.  I hate these [***].

They left a message saying they heard I was interested in getting a puppy.
The call was very broken up. I am not looking for a puppy!

I keep getting calls from 214-283-1316.  How do I stop these calls?

I received a call from this number, as soon as I answered they hung up

Phone rang three times and then hung up.

This number called our landline phone on 5/21 about 5:45 pm and the automated speil was already running when I picked up the receiver.  I got enough from the fast talking tape to understand it was some "research company" and immediately hung up.  At least with internet, I can pre-screen my e-mails and delete known spammers.

Claimed to be an automated survey for Rasmussen Reports, and the results would be used on radio and tv...  I hung up, called the number back and got dead air.

Annoying ~ for the longest time we didn't receive many unknown calls since we were on the no call list. BUT... the past month or so there has been a huge increase. I usually let the answering machine pick-up and they rarely leave a message.

left no message. Dont call these numbers back. It's a computer call and it calls random numbers. It doesn't know your number until you call it back. It also has caller ID, so when you call them it puts your number in their computer. You might be on the no-call list, but it looks as if you called them.

Yeah they called me on a Sunday at 8:30 PM. Terrific. It's a Texas cell phone number. I didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message.
