Anon6 Mar 2008- Hi, I also received a call that was left on my answering machine. The man said his name was Bob Lance from Lance Investigators. He said that 2 men would be out to assess my property and write down license plates numbers from my vehicles. This was really weird. He told me that if I had any questions to call 214-295-1177 and speak to John Sparks. The call came up "private" on my caller ID. Please respond if anyone else has more info on this strange call. Thanks.
- I have been getting harassing phone calls as well from someone named Jimmy Johnson saying that if I had any questions to contact John Sparks. He said the exact same things he said on your message.. Did you ever find out what it was about, or did anyone ever come out and do anything? Or was it a debt collector?
- T Stern7 May 2009I received a call that was left on my answering machine. The man said his name was Jimmy Johnson. He said that he would be out to assess my property and write down license plates numbers from my vehicles, and report his findings to the IRS, and said he would be at my house within 45 minuts and the call was at 8:30 am and noone showed up. This was really weird, and he has tried to call several times during the day and I have avoided his call. He told me that if I had any questions to call John Sparks at 469-298-1200 and speak to John Sparks. The call came up 817-623-5511 on my caller ID. Please respond if anyone else has more info on this strange call. Thanks.
- Tammy26 Jan 2010Got the same message today from 512-000-0000. They called from spoofed (fake) numbers. The company is a debt collector, HHT. This script they read is just to scare you into calling them back.
