Left a recorded message for carpet cleaning.  When I called back the individual who answered the phone knew nothing about the call.  I suspect it is a robodialer with a spoofed telephone number.

Called with prerecorded message for cleaning. I'm on do not call list.

I answered the phone, but could not understand a word they said!  But I got the phone number off caller ID.

I am on the "Do not call list"  Do not call my number again.

It does not matter to these callers if numbers are on "THE LISTS" or not, they never check. Using a robo-dialer simply requires putting in a block of numbers and letting it run....Simple rule is; if it is someone who needs to talk with me a voice message will be left and I can return the call. Sorry it has to be this way but nothing short of not answering the phone will stop this abuse.

More annoying BS... what good is a do not call list???

Claimed to be a carpet cleaning company; pressed "0" for a "free estimate" and got a live body. She hung up when I asked why she was calling a number on the DNC.

Telemarketing robo call violating No Call List Federal law.....
"Liliana" told me they are Triple A Cleaning (carpet & upholstery cleaning), 310 S Carroll Ave, Dallas & gave her callback number as 214-302-9599.  I asked for company info to confirm their identity & got the "website is currently under construction" excuse.  These scam artists KNOW they are violating Federal law & do NOT care!

I will be reporting them to the FTC, FCC AND the Texas Attorney General (this is probably the most important)!  I urge all of you to do the same & maybe we can get just 1 scammer shut down!  The government does nothing about No Call List violators, but the AG's office will get tired of complaints & act on them.

I called the 214-302-9599 number Karenintx listed. The first woman told me they were in Cedar Hill Texas. She hung up when I asked for their mailing address. I called back and another woman answered. She told me they were located at 626 Washington in Hoboken NJ. I'm definitely making a complaint to the Attorney General in Texas and New Jersey.

Called 4-5-2012 @ 19:47, answered call this time.  Recorded message for carpet and upholstery cleaning.  Pressed 0 to speak with a representative.  When connected, I asked to have my number removed from their database and was promptly hung up on.  Hope I wasted her time and money too.

It doesn't work.  I've filed 6 complaints about one company in the past 6 months.  Still get called.

Don't tell us, Danee, we are just people with the same problem. The do-not-call list doesn't matter to anyone except legitmate businesses. Political and charities are exempt. The people who call are either one of those or scammers. I just don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but I understand this is not possible for everyone.

Carpet company calling a number that is on the do not call list.  Told the caller they could not call me it was against the law & they could be fined.  Going to turn them into the attorney generals office.
