Bill collector, I'm sure.  He was looking for someone who used to have my phone number.  He said he was from the "Federal"  something or other, and wanted to verify the social security number of the person he was looking for. Seriously?

This is a bad scam...they call themselves Federal Processing and tell you that you have written bad checks...
My daughter was threatened by them with a warrant for her arrest...before she thought it out, she sent them over $ 700.00...U like me, need to report them to the FTC??

I got a call today from phone number (214)303-9693 getting threatened from Robert Williams saying that i owed a hot check and if i didnt pay for it i was going to jail for 2yrs. Becareful with this scammer he was really rude and disrespectful and treatening. I got really scared beacause i had never experienced this before. I then told my boss to call this number back and they didnt want to give her any information. Stop trying to get money you stupid scammers.This happened today at 11:20A.M.

Becareful because they try to sound professional "Federal Company" yea please think of something else you stupid scammer.

Have received two calls already today from this number with first call at 8:45AM.

I recieved a call from these peple about a loan from CASH CALL/WESTERN SKY from 2 years ago, Grace Morgan is her name claimed she was from teh federal processing unit, and i have numerous amouts of fraudlent checks.  i put a stop payment on THEM; so how is that check fraud? claimed I must call her back before 4pm or its going to court. Dont think i'll be making that call, summons me through a legitimate court and we can settle like most ppl who was in a bind and took a loan and fell short !

They called started talking about a debt from over 8 years ago, did not let them speak any further, told them to do whatever they wanted to, call the cops, etc.  I am sitting right here, then before they could say anything else I hung up and looked up the number, so all the posts, got angry, called them back and threaten them the way they did me.  Hung up on them again, they called me 3 more times, I still did not let them speak, after that they gave up, they are now blocked from my number, will get a message telling them to go fly a kite.

I keep getting calls from Robert Williams 214-303-9693 with a call back no. of  888-752-6145 about a debt with Citi from my husband about 6+ yrs ago (isn't there a time constraint on collections)? ..  they've called my mom too. they say that their clients have a fraud case pending against us and they need a verbal statement & agreement for their clients with a strict deadline.. 1st of all, not us. when he asked to speak with my husband I said he's not home and don't know when he will be. then he sarcastically says, 'do you TALK to your husband'... I hung up on him... he then called my cell phone back 3 x's in a row even after I *67'd it before I called!! I would just answer & hang up each time! total losers that need to get a life!!!! if I have a debt with Citi, I'll wait for their action - period

I got a call from Lisa Jenkins stating that she was calling from the federal processing investigation department approximately 1:19 pm. today from this number (214) 303-9693 stating that someone stole my identity and is very urgent that I call them back. Shortly after I missed the call, my older son called me stating he got a call from the same number and that I had to call them back due to an urgent matter. Right after that they called my husband and my younger son stating the same thing. They told my younger son that they were calling from an Attorney's office and that there was a large lawsuit against me and it was very important for me to call the Attorney at this number immediately. These [***] have nothing else to do. Find yourselves a real job and stop scarying people because you are not getting any of my money.

I have gotten several calls from a woman claiming that I have written bad checks back in 2008.  She has left several messages which I have. What is fustrating is that they have called a relative of mine looking for me and my relative is very upset. I know this is bogus and I don't want to call them and engage in a war of words. What are my alternatives to make this go away? Please help.
