- Caller: NO COMPANY
- TyThis is a SCAM, trying to collect money. Said they have legal documents. Report this number and 877-340-0409 to FTC. Name of compay Hyperion. I have reported them to FTC and State Attorney General Office.
- Caller: Hyperion
- Call type: Debt collector
- AMY ADAMSGot same message something about legal documents out of Midland Co. Why would a Dallas number call, why wouldn't Midland Co just serve the papers? Or mail or whatever? I am afraid to answer anyone anymore, it's all scams..........
- Caller: NINA JOHNSON
- JGot a call from this number stating they had legal papers. They left message stating to call them immediately to keep from having these delivered to my place of employment. Who is this because when I called back I didn't get an answer.
- Caller: unknown
- Kim| 2 repliesThis place is hilarious has anyone noticed the "new thing" with collectors is the ol' speech of we have papers to deliver but gee I want to do you a favor and not embarrass you at work, etc? I said oh no problem just come on over. I know they have nothing to deliver and I work for a group of attorneys at an insurance company so I have good resources that are familiar with the law. I also had Nina Johnson call me and while I was very pleasant (I was at work, there is no way I could tell her off) she gave me the same line about not wanting to humiliate me at work and I said oh that wouldn't be a problem then she went on to say if they serve me at work my supervisor must be present. I said perhaps you aren't aware that I work for attorneys and there is no reason that my supervisor would need to be present while you serve me papers on a personal financial issue. I think that threw her off and her "script" didn't apply or have a canned answer. . . so instead she called me ignorant and rude. She then said that she spoke with "someone in HR" who "begged" her not to come to my job and to work with me to resolve this. Honestly- -I guess they probably do scare a few people but the whole script/story is SO ridiculous. . I don't know who would fall for this garbage. I would love to have our HR director call back and tell her to stop lying about speaking with hr. And one last note, as part of my job we often have to serve papers to people and let me tell you-places do not call ahead of time to schedule an appointment to drop off a summons or any legal paperwork nor do they try and find out where is more convenient to be served. The point is to catch someone off guard. I will be calling tomorrow and innocently asking if she got lost as she never made it to my job this afternoon after claiming she was en route (from TX to WI? yeah right) and I should have my supervisor on standby for when NINA arrived. The whole thing is laughable. Please believe me when I tell you that if a lawsuit is filed, you will be properly served. No one will call you for weeks telling you about the "file that just came across their desk" . .I have been taken to court (not for payday loans) and I have taken people to court and the process servers do their job and call it a day..no courtesy phone calls are made :)

- DebraGot a call twice from Nina Johnson that they. Are serving at work for defaulting on loan in 2010 but when I spoke to the person at Hyperion I reluctantly gave her my card number over the phone but what made me wonder was the woman on the phone gave me 2 different amounts so after speaking to several people I promptly canceled the card. And now they called again saying they were going to serve me at work I ask them if I could pass her number to my lawyer and she said she was only a processing company for Hyperion. But I have been reading by several of the past posts that this is a scam. Should I be worried about this?
- AdamNina Johnson called saying she has court papers to be served to me for my county court. blah, blah, blah. Just another tactic from a bill collector. If you truly are being served, you will be served. they wont call you and threaten you etc.

- louiseI got a call on my work phone from this Nina Johnson telling me she was a process server and had papers to serve in my county and I also got a call from the same number on my cell phone which no one should have. Has anyone ever dealt with her or this company and if you ignore it, does anything happen? Isn't calling someone and leaving a message like that without proper identification illegal? Who is she?
