Telemarketer with a heavy accent who is just getting paid for you to answer the phone. Crooked scam, rang up as Borders........

Caller pretending to be a grandson in trouble, needing money for bail. Had a call this past summer, sounded like the same voice, in jail in Montreal, again wanting money for bail. This time said in Niagara Falls. They hung up when they realized they were not fooling me.

Called several days in a row, accent, pretended to know me (does not).

I got a call from this number from someone with an Indian accent.  He said he was from Microsoft and that I had a virus on my PC.  So obvious it was BS!  I ask him what my name was and I was able to tell he was just using numbers listed in a phone directory.  He was saying my antivirus was no good and that there was a virus on my PC.  He kept wanting me to type something. Scumbag.

Caller ID said Borders ..... claimed I had a virus on my computer. I asked which computer and he said it was a Windows operating system error. I hung up will file a do not call complaint

someone called me from this number just now...i didnt answer so i called back and it says that the number is not in service.........

Just got a call from this number and Caller ID also said Borders. As a former employee of theirs I knew it was bogus. And, yes, a call back says number not in service.

not the first time i have recieved a call from this number.  it always says borders, but i do not answer.  upon call back, shows unavailable.

Is it sad that I like to play along with this jerks when they call?

Me - I don't have any windows computers. What company are you with?

Him - Oh, mumble, we, uh, mumble, we are calling from an office that shows errors with both microsoft products and windows.

Me - Like I said, I have a Mac, not windows.

Him - Yup

Me - Yup

Him - Yup

Me - So what are the errors

Him - Is your computer on?

Me - No. How do I turn it on?

Him - Uh......

Got mulitple calls looking for a former employee of my company that had my number.  Pause at beginning of call told me it was from an auto dialer.  Wouldn't identify what they wanted but guessing it was some type of debt collection or telemarketing. Called back to check and got the number not in service.

got a call from this moran asking for 100 dollars and I would get a new chrystler and $35,000.00. who the hell did he think he was talking too. I told him to deduct the 100 bucks from the 35,000 I won. i kept hanging up on him and he kept calling back, what an idiot...so I called the police

Also got call from same number. Caller ID indicates Borders - NOT! It's an attempt at a scam. Grandson in trouble in Mexico, send money through Moneygram. Playing along until they realize they're caught. Waiting for 3rd call. Told her money sent. NOT!

Caller waiting for us to send Moneygram, $2900. to help out Grandson in Mexico City, Mexico.

Person said she is an attorney Alicia or Lisa Thompson, money to be sent to her or to a Mr. Matthews in Mexico City. She claims she is there with Grandson waiting to go into court. She then gave us a 310 756 4193 telephone number of her consular (her word, not mine) No such number. She called back on the Borders (?) number asking for the Moneygram ID. She will call back again. We know she is scamming. Sad that some grandparents get fooled.

Caller Id was Borders in the 214 area code, I answered the phone the caller said hello a few times as I did too there was a lot of background noise like I would expect in a retail place, the caller started to say he was from windows support and that my computer, right there I stopped him saying he was a scam and that his caller ID was from borders not to mention I am a Computer technician that built all my computers by hand so there is no warranties from dell or others and nothing pay on and I hung up the phone before listening any further and I have reported the call to FTC not like that will help me but just in case they do get to this location or scammer they have my info.

The first call came in under "private caller" a woman with a very heavy accent said I had won a $250.000 prize and wanted to confirm my address. I told her I had a new address and proceeded to give her that address for the local police department.  She then said that I did not scare her company. I told her I work there and they could deliver my prize there and hung up. Immediately the phone rang again from the 214-414-1037 # with "Borders" in the caller ID. When I answered, the same woman asked for me by name and I told her I was not that person twice - THEN, she said "I am not a F***ing loser, you are a F***ing loser. You are going to be a F***ing loser in this." and hung up on me. Guess this means I won't be getting the $250K.

Lady called and claimed she was with “M E Medical” yet the caller I.D. said ‘Borders’ – She asked for the owner of our company, I transferred her to his voice mail because it was clear to me she was selling something.  She then proceeded to call back and was very rude, she demanded to know if I had alerted him that she was on the phone and I asked what the call was regarding, she would not answer my question and just kept demanding that I answer her questions.

This man with an Asian accent ansewed the phone after a very long pause and asked for me by name.  I informed them they had the wrong number.  Got the call again the next day.

Call was listed as private caller, the this number called 30 seconds after. I had the Microsoft scammer, The Jamacian scammers, and now them. Keeps calling everyday, I don't like these scammers!!!!!!
