Rang once. Seems to be a new tactic lately. Scammer calls, lets it ring once, then hangs up. If you return the call from the Caller ID, they 1) now know they have a live number, and 2) they skirt the DNC list because you called *them*.

Address of caller found in white pages.  This number matches the number provided in the phone book.  Luis Gamboa, 1440 Maple Dr, Garland, TX 75042-5819. 214-440-1343

The number called my house 3 days in a row so I called to see who it was.  The number is disconnected.

Stayed on the voice mail for several minutes of just heavy breathing, very disturbing.

I am on the Do not Call list, yet this caller calls nearly every day.

I do not answer calls from unknown callers period. Anyone blocking their name deserves no response. This number showed up a few times of late so I blocked it just now. These scammers have been busy today 4 calls were not allowed to ring through by my blocking feature with ATT U verse Voice set up.I added 4 additional numbers to be blocked just now. When are these creeps going to give up trying to scam hard working folks.

We are receiving numerous calls from 214-440-1343. A kid keeps saying hello on our answering machine, no other message. I called the number back and get a disconnected message. What the heck is going on? Must be someone trying to scam others since you can't call the number back. I am blocking this number today.

CID had an individual's name Luis Gamboa, and as I had been working with some contractors, I answered.

The female ask for me by name, then went on to say she wanted to discuss my contract for Heat and AC maintenance.  I ask who the company was, which she said in a muffled tone.  I should have ask her again, but just told her I didn't have a contract with her company to which she said thank you and hung up.
