I've been getting a call from this number the past few weeks on my cell phone. I have not answered it at all, nor has it left a voice mail.

Same here, no message left.  Probably another telemarketer

i answered the call, its from texas. some dude was asking me if he could talk to some girl with the last name "medina" i said,"u got the wrong number buddy". he said "i called this number yesterday and she was on".
bottom line, is that this dude was looking for a girl and he thinks im tapping her. i will never answer this call again.

Received a call from think number, and the gentleman asked for our office manager or owner. I asked what this was regarding, and he said something about a "Visa credit card service." We do not have a business card through Visa. I told him no one was available, and he said he would call back another time.

Callback to the number revealed the company as Encore Payment Systems. Do not know what they want, but considering the first result of a google search for them was from ripoffreport.com, I'm wary.

I received a call from this number, but they hung up after the phone was answered.  And, no, it did not appear to be a computer-generated call, as those have a different "feel" or "sound" when you answer the phone.

They do credit card processing for businesses.

This number just called us. The young lady was asking if we had something, but when I informed her that I could not hear her she hung up. (The radio is kept on in our office, and she could not be heard over the radio.)

Male voice on the other end would not identify himself, his business name, or what he was calling about. As I had a legitimate customer in the shop at the time, I hung up on him.

Received a call from 214 442 1700, woman left message that she was from Prodigy Payment Center and something about holding a payment and needed me to call 888 247 6504 choose option 2 and ask for Heather. Not once did she identify me by name. I decided to google the phone number because I was suspicious. This is my cell phone and I do not give the number out to just anyone. I am not a business so I don't see why a payment would be "held". We also have no payments owing on anything such as car/home/cc. I think it's highly suspicious.

got a call from this number. the woman asked for the owner of the business. I explained the owner wasnt in she then went on to ask if we process credit card payments. I knew it was a sales call so i hung up on her. She called back twice and haraassed me for hanging up on her. I told her if she called back again i was calling the police. I'm sure this company/woman will continue to call and harass us.

I am receiving phone calls from this number and no one is ever on the phone when I answer.  I will report it to the State Attorny General's Office.

Just called.  There was a delay between my saying "Hello" and the computer hooking the line up to the female.  
She said "Hello?" as if she got a blank line.  
I said, "I already said that, your turn."  
She said, "Oh sorry.  Do you take credit cards?"  
I said, after pausing, "No!"  
She said, "Oh, Good bye."

Lady called and asked for the business owner. She was extremely rude and ghetto. She could not tell me who she was calling, and then lied about the business name, telling me it was Prodigy Payment Center (but apparently it's Encore?). I decided to play around with her since she was obviously trying to scam me. I asked her where they were located, she of course avoided the question, and told me that "Mr. Smith" would be at our business tomorrow (Btw, Mr. Smith? Really? Of all the names you could have faked? You might as well say "John Doe") She was acting like they worked for the government. I began questioning her as to where "Mr. Smith" was located. She got defensive and pissy when she couldn't keep up with answering my questions. Ma'am, it was a pleasure shooting the sh*t with you, but you're a horrible liar.

These people have called three times. The first time Justin called to offer me an interview for their sales position in a voicemail. The second time I answered and it was Justin again; I told him to please take me off of his list. The third time Justin called and left a message telling me they'd like to interview me for their sales position.

Justin is not very smart.
