Why does this number keep calling me?  They never leave a message who they are and it is to the point of harassment!

They call me every few weeks and on the day they call, they'll call multiple times. I never pick up. The voice-mail is always 2 to 3 seconds long of nothing.

Received call from this number, but no one on the other end would speak...complete silence.

I got a call from these people as well. Said something about having unpaid medical bills or something like that, which is weird since I'm 24 and have never been in the hospital before. Then when I said let me call you back he quickly hung up without giving me any call back information. Is there a way to know for sure if this is a scam or not?

You could always check your credit report to start.  If they are on there I would suggest asking for proof of the debt.  That might allow you the opportunity to investigate it.

Multiple aggressive calls - I still don't know who they are or what they want... When I tell them to contact me by mail and to stop harassing me with calls - they hang up!!  They say it's some financial group?

Bad callers

First call from this number.  Caller ID reads Anthony Jackson. I don't know this person and have since blocked the number.
It appears from other posts here it is a collections company of some kind. Sounds like another group of bottom feeders.

Received call twice. Never picked up call. First call, received voicemail, about 30 seconds. Sounded as if a radio was playing quietly in the background, and no other noise. Second call, no voicemail.

Number is a repeated caller and hangs up without leaving a message, seems like they spend more time changing their caller ID than anything.

It is Lazarus Financial they do Medical and other collections.  I used them for storage collections.  Apparently they aren't very good at it.  I called them stayed on hold thru 3 calls in front of me only to get an answering machine.  I wouldn't take the calls too seriously.  Just blow them off, check your credit report and contact any collections you have directly.  They only make a percent of what they collect.
