Look people PLEASE ask QUESTIONS !!!!!!!! these are parasites they use the same old opening gibberish sentence. Non prophet blah blah blah. In fact they are about the prophet. These parasites will go off with their memo typed gibberish even when you try to ask them something. When you do get them to shut up and ask them about the non prophet opening they will first ignore the question unless you push it. Let them know you understand the Law and they have too answer the question. Only then will they say we are collecting on behalf of such  organization. Any time you hear the words ON BEHALF no thanks and hang up. I have questioned many off the callers, they take up to 0.88 cent of each dollar you give. When I asked this Question to this caller they wanted to give me a number to call. Huh what really. Please, you want to give, do it directly that way in your heart you know it's going where the money is needed, not in someone's bank account.

got a call from 214-447-0394 ask me to help with the police department ,, asking for donations... how much can I help with . I said, why are you calling from illinois when I live in texas. He said oh we help all over the country ,, I said, right,, well I just got out of Prison and I hate cops... which is a lie . he hung up ... this people are scams they take your money... police don't take donations on the phone.

It is a trick to get you to call them. They call and when you answer no one is there. Then if you call back they start talking to you. This is a robo call where it just keeps calling numbers, then they only talk to people that return the call. This is a way for them to guarantee they are talking to someone and not getting an answering machine or someone on the Do Not Call List. They didn't call you, but you called them.

I am ranking this as unsafe because they would not let me donate except with a credit card on the phone. They claim to be a telemarketing company representing the organization. When our secretary tried to verify online, the FOP.net website said, "The National Fraternal Order of Police website is temporarily offline due to technical difficulties."   BEWARE and verify before donating.
