My husband and I are both on the account so they call one cell phone and when no one answers (because after it's turned to harassment I have no care to speak with them) they IMMEDIATELY call the other number.  And ditto to all of the comments about arranging a payment with one person and the next knows nothing about it...I just quit answering their calls and make my payment online when I have the money.  I know I'm THREE DAYS late at this point, but really?

It's so tempting to answer with a, "If I had a nickel for every time you called me I'd have the car paid off by now!" and hang up.

I receive at least 8-10 calls per day from HSBC if I am more than 2 days late on my car payment.  They will call all day an until 10 pm at night.

My payments are taken directly out of my checking account every month on time, but I still get monthly calls saying I am late. The payment comes out on the same day every month and is definitely debited. The attitude i get from them is that I am lying or something. Funny thing is if I am always late, why do I show on time payments for the whole loan term thus far on my credit report? This company is very shady. They even came and repossessed my truck after the first three months I owned it saying I never made a payment even though it was coming out of my account on time. It was hell trying to get it back. But still no negative mark on credit report.

this is going to be great! i just got the loan yesterday and already i have had a call and hang up. i am going to look for another financial agency immediately. no way do i want this going on constantly.

I get calls from this as well as other  number seven daays a week and it isn't t my account.  They start calling at 8 am and continue until 9 pm, always leaving a message.  They have a cell contact for the person it belongs to but never call.  I am about to report them to the FTC for harassment.

funny thing is I was late 3 months in a row finally got caught up then the following month they called 2 times on the day the payment was late and some guy who didn't understand english told me he knew I was going to be late again I told him I finally got caught up and he laughed and hung up.

My husband's phone vibrates off the counter ever hour on the hour from 1-214-488-5148.  I was getting suspicious so I did a search and found this website.  So now I'm not sure if these people are just harrassing my husband or if we are late on our mortgage.  Looks like I'll have an interesting conversation with my husband tonight.

Yesterday, they called from the 214-488-5159 number.  First call at 8:10 am and called EVERY HOUR till 9PM.  Today the same thing except the went to lunch, no one called last hour.  My payment is automatic draft every month so I have no clue as to why they are harassing me!!!  But they will not leave a message and when I do pick up they never say anything.

THIS IS HARRASSMENT!!!!

I went on line and changed my contact # so that it stopped calling my home. Next month I am going to change the number on line and update my other contact number by changing it and BINGO no more harassing calls.

this is the worst company to do business. I too rec'd phone calls from early in the morning , to late at night. Even though I send payment out before the due date, & they take their time depositing my check; one cumstomer service rep whom I just had a converstion about the day before,called back and stated to me that there were no records of me having spoken to anyone there to help "Settle my account."  I wish they would just go out of business, for they do not have proper business practice.

Be careful when you do make payment arrangements.  We did what they said sent in all the documents and they came and got our car.  We got it back but it was towed because the paperword was in one department and no one documented calls on the accout.  Now we owe them an extra $1000.

computer says to call this #. calls come 10-20 times a day and from several #s. sometimes 1 right after the other. never anyone on the line, just a computer.

So this number is on my home phone caller ID. No message left on the answering machine of coarse. So I googled it and found these comments. I was curious when it said Toll Free Call? I do not have a car loan with HSBC or any loan with them. So I will be going to the Do Not call website and filing a complaint. Everyone one should do the same. I have had this number for about 3 months now and I have recieved lots of calls from creditors looking for the person that had the number before me. The phone companies need to hold onto numbers longer before recycling them out again. It causes me a lot of undo stress because I got someone's number and she ran out on her obligations. You would think that when a creditor calls and listens to the personalized greeting on the answering machine and it is not who they are trying to reach then they might stop calling? Just a thought. Everyone needs to file complaints on the Do Not call website when they are being harassed by creditors. Educate yourself and turn them in when they are breaking the law.

It is freakin ridiculous.  They start calling right at 8 a.m. and the latest has been 9:00, Mon-Sun.  It just doesn't stop.  I was a month behind, made arrangements, caught up and I still continue to receive the calls constantly.  I just hit "ignore" on my cell. Does anyone have the correct # to block a # on the cell.

I have a loan with HSBC if the payment is made on time there is no reason for them to call here at least 10 times a day starting at 8 in the morning.  I do call this harrasment.
