Received a call from some Asian guy who said his name was Jonathan Edwards.(yeah right). an Attorney who said to call him back if not he could only wish me good luck. ITS A SCAM TO GET MONEY...

They are calling me now.  I work at a bank.  See so much of this.

I jus got a call from this number saying I owed somone 8000 dollars and when I started yelling they said that they would send the authorities to my job in which they knew the name of to arrest me

I received a vcml at work and my cell# not identifying the company - had a strong accent and said the same thing to have my retained atty on file call them at once and not to ignore or they wish me good luck???

They left me a voicemail also then they threatened my with jail time for fraud......Can you tell me how in the hell you pull of the minimum of 20 days for fraud charges!!!!???? Get outta here! Pissed me the hell off!!!

Yeah I got a call today and a mesage was left stating that I shouldn't ignore this message and that myself or my attorney needs to call in regards to a matter. I call the number and this man name Tavis Hall said that I was being sued from like a payday advance they knew my job information and the last 4 digits of my ssn. He said that I would be arrested on monday and held in jail until november 26 that it was a felony and that a wrrant would be issued for my arrest. He said that I would be arrested at my job or my home. He said that I needed to $856.16 before 2 pm in order for this matter to resolved out of court and legal issues will occur if I didnt then it would cost be over 8,000-9,000 to get out on bail

I have been getting calls all this week after applying for a short term loan but turned it down due to high payback- interest was 200%!! Two days ago it came from a New York # and the guy said his name was Paul Smith and i was in big trouble due to not paying my payday loan for $486.00. I had already looked up this # 607-595-1545 and knew it was a scam! I told him i applied for a loan but turned the offer down! He kept saying you got the money and you need to send payment today or else he felt sorry for me! I told him he was being investigated for fraud and extortion and a couple of other things! This was 2 days ago and today at 2:15 pm i got a call from the same man using a different name Jack Lewis but the # was this one in Texas 214-491-5697. I could not believe he had the nerve to try to scam me again today- these people are ruthless!! He said i needed my weekend attorney to call him and he better get money tomorrow. Again i stated i owed them nothing and he was screaming at me saying Ros-a-lee you f'n bich better send the money or i would be sorry!! Just unreal, from now on i plan on screening all calls and not accepting Any from these numbers. Under the New York phone # i noticed these people are a scam and extortion ring from India and some have been caught. You can read the other list of complaints when you check on the 607-595-1545 #. They also posted that it is very hard to catch these people due to them moving locations so much. Good luck- pass this information on to make the public aware!

same thing here. The [***] called me and asked me about who he was looking for and when I didnt tell him the where abouts of the person. This son of a [***] had the nerve to tell me that the person would be arrested in 72hrs! The [***] sounded indian and probably haven't seen food in days, I do believe it's a SCAM this company should be investigated and put out of business for harassing and threatening people. They are the ones needed to be arrested.

this Guy Called My Wife On Her cell Phone And Said She Would Be Arrested Tomorrow Morning At 8:00am Not Sure Who He Was But She Said They Had Called About 5 Times Today, This Is Harrassment So I Have Contacted My Local Law Enforcement.

I too have just started to receive these harrassing calls. They called my cell and work #. I actually talked to the "mid easterner" guy which has a terrible accent by the way. His name I believe his name was Tom Smith. Ahh yeah right..anyway, Im supposedly being investigated for some sort of legal matter and need to take down some important information for my attorney. Kind of made me nervous at first I didn't know what to expect until i actually thought for a moment..I haven't received not one letter in the mail. Simple phone call can do nothing..They also told me to do not disregard and If I do goodluck..I basically said "THanks"..

Same deal, here. "Jack Lewis" left me a msg, barely understood, that I or my retained attorney of record need to contact him on an extremely time sensitive matter, that I should not disregard this message. He went on to say if he does not here from me or my attorney that he wishes me luck as "this situation unfolds on you." Unreal.

They keep harassing me so I called them back and told them I knew they were a scam.   They hung right up

Got a scam call from this number. His name was jack lewis  after a great exchange between us he thought it was funny to  keep calling back. So i called the. Fed trade comishion. They were very helpful and took down all  the numbers i gave them and they said they would follow up.  There number is 877 382 4357. Give them a call

They called me on my cell and work phone and stated I would be arrested tomorrow at my job and named it ... a little nervous but I know I don't have an unpaid loan out... reassurance that its a scam would be nice :)

It's a scam, ignore the calls.

Johnathan Edwards called my job and I hung up and he called back trying to extort money and didn't want to give me his # and kept asking me for my # and I refused to give it to him and he kept saying I was going to get arrested...I am going to call him back and tell him I am contacting the Federal Trade Commission. Someone needs to do something with these kinds of scams. This is ridiculous. I am glad I thought to look up the # or I wouldn't have seen all these complaints.

Listen guys Travis Hall called me today November 20,2012. He told me that I was going to be arrested for something that I owed for a payday loan that I was looking into but never did it well this ass told me because i went into the website to search I owed them 356.16 for just browsing the website. I am so glad that I google the number my friend told me to do it. Listen I'm here to pass the word the name is Travis Hall and it's a SCAM now that I know because of you guys, god bless each and every one of you's. You saved me from getting cheated by a scammer.
