The call was a recorded "second request" about my credit card and said that I could lower my interest rate payments.  When I pushed 1, I talked to a real person who asked if I was interested in their credit card member services.  I said I wanted to talk to them about their phone call because I am on the no call list. He immediately hung up.

Received call from this number indicating that this was a very important message" about my credit card and that this was the last and final call regarding it. Was told to press "1" which I did not.  This is about the 4th time I have received a call from this number.

Fifth call from this number 214-496-2580, stating that this is a critical call about my credit card rates. I have no cards, it's a scam. When I ask that they take me off their list, they hang up.

They call me at least once a week.  Asked if I was called about the offer to which I stated I wanted to be removed from their call list.  She said it would be $14.95.  I said, oh yeah, $14.95 to be removed?  Why don't I just report you for harrassment?  She stated that I agreed to these calls when I accepted my mastercard.  I then stated I had no credit cards, at which time she hung up.  What can we do to stop these calls?

Ditto to the above.  Problem is, I tried to register a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry but their phone number is "invalid."  If you try to call it back, it gives a recording that the line is not a working line.  How in the world are you supposed to enforce the DO NOT CALL list if they can get by with that?  IS ANYBODY LISTENING OUT THERE?????  They have called our cell phones too!  I want it to stop!

I love caller ID - If I don´t know the number, I don´t answer.  I then Google the number and almost always end up here or similiar site, which confirms the hunch.  We are on the do not call list, too.

This company is a scam. They just change their number when people start blocking them, but it's the same old thing about credit cards. I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number.

Just got a call from them on my unlisted/unpublished land line.  Didn't recognize the number, so disconnected the call without answering.  Came here; glad I didn't bother.  Caller ID just says "Texas Call".

Same credit card recording.  I didn't press #1 and hung up.  Have gotten this same call from many numbers.  Very Annoying!

Filed a complaint anyway with 'Do Not Call' registry. If enough of us do so, they will tire of overload and repeats and then investigate the company...so complain please!

Same as many here and on oher sites. I just received a call from this number today for the first time. It is connected to many other numbers, which is somehow connected to a company in Miami Florida called Reaching U network. (I actually reported this number to the Chicago Urban League as a loan modification fraud.). Someone on another site published the contact info of that company on sunbiz.org. It seems these three "attorneys" scout for business this way.

I am also on the DNC list. One tip that I have had in helping me to report bogus numbers: right after the phone call ends, press *57. This is a way of tracing the real origin of the call. It gives instructions on how to inform local law enforcement of the "real" number.  The scam artists become aware that you are tracing them and most stop calling.Of course, there are still a few in which you have to follow through on your complaint.

This *57 also helps with reporting the real number to the DNC list. And as C has said, also report to your state attorney general's office at every opportunity you get. There is apparently a  new breed of telemarketer that praises aggression and abusiveness. We have to fight back together and appropriately.
