I got a call from this number today, but missed it and there was no message left.  I don't owe anybody any money that I'm not paying (in other words, I'm current on my mortgage!) so they have no business calling me.

It's a collection agency.

I do not answer numbers that i do not recognize. In fact, I do not answer the phone after 5:00PM
Calling my home is an invasion of privacy, I did ask to be called.

This person (214-506-7177) called my home threatening to deliver papers to take someone to court. They claimed they'd be coming by, had a lot of personal information, yet no one ever showed. I'd be very careful with this person considering the original number they called from has a long list of complaints of harassment and threats to others whom they have called, and the FTC put out a scam alert warning on that number stating that they have been calling giving personal information to people, even their addresses, social security numbers and also at times their bank acct numbers, even calling their employers and using scare tactics to get money from them that they do not owe. They somehow get access to you credit report and pick a bill you may owe and attempt to collect it. They recommend you get their full name, their employee ID number, the business address & phone number and demand a formal letter be sent to you stating the amount you owe and to whom you owe it so that you can verify if it's legit. They said do NOT give out ANY of  your personal information including your address. If they say they have your address, let them mail info to that address.

Its true, both Diversified Collection Services Inc. and Action Financial Services, LLC are working together to collect on one debt.  They are rude, uncooperative, trouble making, they will get you fired if they have employment information, they expect you to get the payments from other sources to make the payment.

Be Careful, Last year I received a from a collection agency and checked the number and it direct to me Student loan settlement company. I have had $22k loan that time and they offered me to seattle for $16K with 4 payments and I did, Find out it was a Fake company. beware for giving your personal information over the phone or making any settlement. Its been year my loan is still there and lost lot of money...

Wow. That list of numbers was interesting. I do have past due bills that are in collections, but 10 calls a day total from 3 different numbers on that list?  Really?

Keep getting messages on Whatapp from a 214 506 2014 number and we are in the UK !!  I know the number is not related but just goes to show what a bunch of idiots these companies do employ. They don't do their homework at all.

This number claims I owe for a student loan.  They claim that the U S. Department of education is their client however I have never received a formal document from the U. S. Department of Education NOR from the lender - Wells Fargo!    NOTIFY THE US POSTAL INSPECTORS AND FILE COMPLAINT WITH FTC.  I have already filed a complaint with these two and will not proceed with a complaint to the FBI!

I will file a complaint with the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's offices.

This number is a collection firm that is breaking federal law by contacting family, friends, and neighbors of a person. DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE>

did you recently acquire the number you currently use?  if so, then the former owner of your number may have registered it for whatever business that this company is now calling you to address.

Make sure you make a separate report with that number so it'll be easier to find on searches. ;)

How do you report them?   The problem is that they use many different numbers, so you cannot block them.

This number keeps calling me, never leaves a message. They also called my mom and my husband while he was at work, more than once!
Said her name is Hed, from AFS (American finacial services) and I need to call her back about my student loan because they have new repayment options. Yes, I do still owe on a student loan. However, I recently received paperwork for the us department of education regarding this loan and it tells me all about the loan, what has been paid and how much is owed. It says absolutly nothing about this company holding the loan right now.
After reading all this info listed here, about the company I don't think I'll be calling her back! Especially since us department of education says nothing about that company having my loan!
