I chose not to answer since it was Vday. It's a local Dallas/ft Worth number but I have no idea who they are.

I answered it and the call was quickly disconnected.

Got the call on my mobile.  Heard some DTMF tones, then it hung up.  Calling the number back, I got a recording about a "US Prescription Card" which prompted me to leave a message with name and address.  No thanks.

The phone number is apparently registered to Verizon wireless.  I tried calling them to report abuse, but they wouldn't take a report because I'm not a verizon customer.  They suggested I call the police.

I'm reporting it to the FCC.  I suggest everyone does the same.  Google "FCC complaint"

Same occurred with me this morning - I answered, heard some tones and the call dropped

Unknown purpose, but thanks to this wonderful site, I know to add it to the list of numbers not to answer as it is likely a scam.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. As soon as I answered it disconnected.

I received a call from this number on my cell also.  It was disconnected after I said hello.  The line was busy when I called back this number.  Next time guess it's better to ignore random numbers, especially after business hours, and let it go to voicemail.

Got a call from this number then 2818390574 consecutivly. Usless soliciter trash, got to start cutting a finger off every worthless call when you catch these people.
