vicky maerevoet - 25 Aug 2008well every month an amoun t of 29,95 euros are being taken unotherised from my account and i would like this to stop ; as my friend supscribed something and payed with my card for only once to be payed and not every month as they do.

gina - 4 Sep 2008unauthorized credit card transaction, same as everyone else. My credit card company is crediting me the change and said if it happens again I will need to get a new card.

Jay - 28 Oct 2008I have two charges on my debit card from Match.com/bill in the amount of $37.51 each. No reversal so far. I filed a fraud claim with my bank, so hopefully I'll get it all back.
It sounds like a money laundering to me. Whoever is doing this is making bank off all this change that people aren't getting back.
How does one file a complaint regarding that kind of thing?

ann brown - 17 Oct 2008did not get phone call just a debit from my account of $149.95 unorthorised from www.match.com/bill had above number underneath on bank statement with letters GBR at the end would like to no how they did this and want my money back would be grateful if someone could help dont understand how they obtained my bank details thanks annZ

Trista - 27 Oct 20088 transactions total. the break down: (2) debits for $0.40, (2) debits for $40.44, (2) deposits for $40.44, and (2) deposits for $40.38. They got only $0.12, but I'm more concerned as to how they got my billing information. I'm *HAPPILY* married and neither my husband or I have EVER used match.com. The bill shows as: Visa International Service Assessment for the small transactions, and: www.match.com/bill 214-576-9516 GB for the larger ones.
I doubt my bank will do anything about this, so I'll most likely change my account number--again. Calling the number did nothing for me, and going to match.com didn't help either...there are no phone numbers to verify that this transaction actually came from match.com.

Jay - 30 Oct 2008I called match.com and they basically told me that they couldn't help me and that I needed to call another number, which ended up being the same destination as the phone number on the bill (214-576-9516). They told me I was billed my match.com "international" and not by the U.S. match.com. What's even more disturbing is that I emailed match.com international, and the automated reply that was sent addressed "common issues" and it actually had a section about unauthorized credit card charges. How is that a common issue?!
I disputed the charges with my bank and they said I should have my money back in 10 days or less. As for match.com and match.com international, I've gotten absolutely nowhere with them. None of the charges have been credited back, but this may be because I deactivated the card that they made the charges to.
