This number called me at 4 in the morning.. i didn't know who it was so i didn't answer and decided i'd take care of it in the morning.. i called and sure enough i get this lady telling me to hold while they connect my phone call..and then a long hold with some kind of techno/electronica music..weird

Called three times; Sounded like they had a Spanish accent; Asked who I was, I asked who they were, and stated that they did not sound like anybody I knew.  Gave a generic last name only (i.e., Smith, Jones, Johnson.  They hung up.  Then left a voice mail. No further calls at this time.

This is a number From Skype when a call is made from a skype accountt hat does not have a number attached toit ie>they have not bought a land line number it gives thisgeneric number hopethis helps shed some lite on this subject

This number is regestered to IBFA and is what is known as a "local exchange service." They provide numbers to appear on caller ID's that are not the number of the true caller. The true caller can actually be a telemaketer, collection agency, or a scammer anywhere in the world

just to add another positive experience. the number showed on my display but it was my sister calling from germany.

I received a call yesterday morning from this number.  Someone with a Middle-Eastern or Indian accent offered me a free Sprint Cell Phone in exchange for my address, SSN and DL#.  Anyone else get this?

I just got a call from this number. The lady at the other end knows my name and offerd me nice holiday package to Mexico. She was talking about one Galleria Mall with a foreign accent.

the first call was at 11:39 and the number 2147-586-0999, but i was on the

other line soo i ignored it then they called again but it came up at unknown so again i ignored, and i notice they left 2 messages, the next

morning i hear this man who says hello and he sounds pissed and its all quiet same with the other message but he kepts saying hello

I just had a client call me and I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I looked up the number and found this site. I then received a voicemail from him.

After asking him a few questions about it, he tol dme that he uses SKYPE and the this is the number that shows up.

just recieved a call from this number on my blackberry 8800. Instead of hitting the answer key I hit ignore. Called back number and has a techno music and every now and then it will say "please wait while we connect your call" Sorry guys not much info here.

I was trying to lay my 4 mo. old down for his nap when this number called. And seeing how I have an answering machine I just ignored it. It was a spanish speaking woman. She left a message only to call back a min later. That too I did not answer because my son was very tired and needed his nap. To me that was more important. This time she didn't leave a message but called back one min later. By this time I was aggrivated so I answered the phone. I told her she had the wrong # and hung up. Of course I was rude. You'd think after the 2nd time of not answering I was busy or just not home. Nope. She proceeded to call three more times for a total of 6 calls. Grr... Obviously I don't speak spanish and she had the wrong number.

I have been getting call from this number to my cell-phone for a few months now. By the time I  pick up the phone, the person hangs up. I tried to call back, but I always get a funky music. First time this number appeared was when my sister left an urgent message from India, while she was on vacation.  My sister was expecting me to call her back. I desperately tried to call her back but I could not, since this was not the real number.

I received a call from this number here at work at 3:30 pm., too.  When I did a reverse look up, I discovered that the number is for a land line in Dallas and that the service provider is something called Ibfa Acquisition Company.  I googled on Ibfa and they are a telecommunications company based in Idaho.  The interesting thing is, almost immediately I received another phone call from 281-288-6137 which is a landline in Spring, Texas.  Neither caller left a message.

i recevied a call from this number too i missed the call than i tried to call back in order to find out how was it but no one picked up the phone. after several hours i recevied agin a call from the same number, and it was my girl friend calling from uk i was stuned

mine came over my call wave on my computer. it says it's from dallas, but i won't call it back....iv'e read it's from mexico, but it's a 214 area code......thanks to all for the info........it may be some number that may charge me a few hundred bucks if i return the call......thanks.....

I got a phone call at my parents address. They asked for me and my mom informed them I did not live there.  That number and all my numbes are on the DO NOT CALL List.

Receive calls with no one on the other end.  Called number back with no response.

I just got a call and it was my daughter calling through SKYPE.  I suggest these may be legitimate calls and nothing to worry about, but you won't be able to return the call as the number is a generic one.  I'm not sure of this, but I think that is what is happening.
